    Oh. My. God. Thank you soooo much for having this! I feel like a kid again watching this (even tho I'm now in my 30's lol 🙈) this video and Eureka's Castle are pure childhood to me. Thanks again...this was amazing to nostalgically watch!!

    I wish there was a voice cast list and credits, great voices for the characters! But what caught me off guard was that Lord Licorice here is undoubtedly voiced by the legend Jonathan Harris! What a treat!

    That is incredibly charming and adorable! They put so much effort in the shiny paintings and the voice acting is on spot.

    • @robbiewalker2831
      @robbiewalker2831 2 года назад +1

      Mostly on spot. Mr. Mint has a weird voice unfitting for a lumberjack, and King Kandy went from sounding regal (which is better fitting) to sounding uninterested (not fitting) between two stories.

    • @robbiewalker2831
      @robbiewalker2831 2 года назад +2

      @@MacandBloo4ever well, I was saying that, because other than the story (that wasn’t based on the Legend that the board game came with in the 80s and 90s), the artstyle they made was tied in with the version of the board game that nobody liked, due to removing some characters and changing a lot of them for the wrong reasons (both design wise and personality wise), as well as changing the rules that went from being beneficial in having fun to detrimental in cutting the game short. Not only was the artstyle changed, but the Candy Land Kids from the 80s and 90s (seen in this video as well) are long gone in favor of “diversity”, when they could’ve made two or three more with different outfits, making the main two kids come off as siblings. Lord Licorice’s voice and song was the only positive I can give to the “movie”, as Lord Licorice is like the Robbie Rotten of Candy Land. Everything else I know of the 80s/90s Candy Land has been erased, having the movie devoid of everything we knew about the characters before hand. I should also point out that from seeing this video, I’m surprised Licorice is somehow respected in Candy Land (mostly the Red Kind), yet the Lord of the Black Twizzlers still acted very antagonistic.

And I never did. Looking back, although this animation is worse than trash, if it can even be called animation, they managed to get a surprisingly impressive voice cast. Seems almost like a waste...
