It is interesting to see how people from different countries shop. In Europe everything is much smaller. I have a big family so grocery shopping isn't possible just once a month. It is also much more expensive in Europe.
I am north-european, but living in south-eastern Europe. We eat here very fresh. We buy vegetables and fruits at the market and use it directly. Also dough for Pizza, cake, pancakes, pie etc. is prepared freshly. We don't have ready dough mixtures here. We eat soups, stews, meat...but freshly cooked. I remember from my visits to the US, that they offer ready mixtures. I think, sometimes it is great. Honestly, I also love sometimes fast food. But we don't eat it regulary. For breakfast people like eggs here as well, we love olives, tomatos, cucumberd, plain yoghurt, tea, Feta cheese, olive oil. We drink more water than juices or lemonades.
So every country has its own culture regarding food.

I just made my own sweet potato pancakes with a recipe from RUclips shorts. You take sweet potato and broccoli and steam it then you add a couple pads of butter Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and then I put nut Megan and you mashed it all up and then you shape it into whatever shape you want like a chicken fingers shape or a patty you bake it in the oven at 375 for about 40 minutes or 25 minutes turn it over for another 10-15 minutes. It’s so good. I also sprinkled Panko on the top before putting in the oven so they were a little crispy when you turn them over you can sprinkle Panko again.

Where are the fresh fruits and vegetables? 😬 Sorry I'm French so I don't know maybe these kind of stores only sell processed food ? But it seems that most of them contain refined sugar, it shouldn't be given to kids.

It kinda depends on what discount store you go to, and in what areas. Sometimes larger stores will have fresh produce, and sometimes smaller stores won't even have a freezer section.

I’m Swedish 🇸🇪 and I’m in chock 😮 when I see the amount of processed food and sugar.
Never seen anyone buy so many varieties of pre made food, cookies , pie’s and similar sweet “things”..
( the kids can eat sweets for 6 months)
In Sweden we have a saying that “Fruits are candy” and that’s something worth trying instead of sweet processed items.
USA are an enormous country with an enormous high % of overweight and obese people,
All that starts in childhood with “wrong” food,
processed food , pre made food full of sugar and fat.
Help your children to avoid a future like that. 🌸

Wow so judgmental! I guess they don’t teach you in your countries if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. Also, do you have a big family? I’m assuming you don’t. People who only have 2-3 kids just don’t understand. I know having a big family is uncommon outside the US (probably because you can’t afford it) but it’s not as much sweets as you might think. Also, maybe you guys need to check your audio because she did mention that the sweets were for special treats, date night and baking! Do you guys only make fruit salad for desserts? I didn’t think so. And in case you overlooked it, this grocery haul was for the month not just a week AND they get their produce in a different store WEEKLY. So yeah, next time watch the whole video before letting your ugly show. Have a great day!

It's pretty irresponsible to have this many kids in this time when everything is expensive and you're clearly living in poverty. You wont be able to send them to college. They will struggle all their lives unless any of them happen to excel at sports or be exceptionally intelligent. You're setting them up for a hard, miserable life. They, too, will live in poverty. This is how poverty is passed on from generation to generation.
