From seemingly only buying lots that you made your money back… this was another childhood treat! I remember dropping 20$ for amazing custom figs back in 2008-2009. Leg printing and arm decals long before Lego ever done it. This brought back memories of that but also just making our own clones with sharpie back in the day! Thanks for the smiles, cheers!
Something about the Clone Wars era Phase 1s. They capture the show design well and just look so natural in lego. Also, I’m biased because they were some of my favorite sets as a kid
@@Ghost_BricksStudios it depends on what theme I do for the eldar I painted them to look like eva unit 01 for my space marines I chose the black templars which is red white black
I was very impressed with the paint jobs on these. Always wanted a Ponds specifically to go with the real Phase 1 clone commanders and captains in the clone wars style.
Hate to be that guy ”erm actually” guy, but I believe that clone commander is actually a 327th star corps trooper, because the commander would have the 4 yellow dots signifying rank on the upper right of the torso.
I don’t like Lego customs for some reason. There’s just something that doesn’t settle with me about those. I see other people buying them and putting them in with there other minifigures but It doesn’t seem right.
These weren’t commissioned by myself, I saw them as is on Ebay and purchased. Funny enough, the guy who sold them to me saw my video and said he commissioned them from @the12thbattallion on Instagram
@@studstache Ty, I’ll check my area and see if anyone is interested in them. Tbh I’ve been painting miniatures for 20+ years, never thought of mixing the hobbies. Might get some commissions and dazzle up some mocs
@@silenthillfan01234 Yea not sure how big of a market will be but I wouldn’t be surprised if someone paid $30ish for some of these hand painted ones. If you do commissions people would be interested but I’d definitely start with painting basic clone troopers and turning them into versions that LEGO has not officially made. definitely a market there
@@studstache I can do things like freehand also, things like galactic font on whatever and or nice little details like chips in armor or “victory marks” of droids. I’m thinking that I want to add a sand effect on my p1 troopers for my geonosis moc. Warhammer scale is about half Lego minifig so it’ll feel like painting statues
After some research, I believe the painting was done by @the12thbattalion on Instagram! Check them out
I can tell the seller is a fellow Lego Star Wars 3 enjoyer
LSW3 enjoyers rise up!
Such a great game
Yes sir, that game was fire
i got that on the wii its fire
ong, i miss the Wii bro
The OG sound effects genuinely bring me back
You know the customizations are good when he dares to sell them.

Yea these painted ones are what I thought my childhood sharpied ones came out like at the time! I still have all my drawn on figures
@@studstache Haha, yeah we remember them looking better than they actually did! Great video brotha ✊
@@SeveralDolphin8 thank you man!
Honestly super nice to see these custom clones made so well, adds some unique flair and personality to your collection! Love your vids :)
All the clones look amazing
Ki Adi Mundi do be loking like megamind
Dude! That’s prob the best paint work done on a minifig
I wish I had some custom clones to expensive 😞
I really like the look of Phase 1 Clones over Phase 2 Clones any day of the week.

As a man who paints warhammer 40k models you have my respect for being able to paint those clones so nicely 👌
Damn, you paint the Warhammer models?
Those things look tedious af lmao
@@Ghost_BricksStudios they are sometimes but its kinda therapeutic to me
@@Protectorofchi11i what colours do you make them?

Good lookin stuff mate

These are insanly good custom paintjobs
"i gave ponds a kama and - FOORRWAARRDD"
They make steven seagal look like a competent actor
That’s an amazing purchase, keep the content going
The "just like the simulation" quote hit me, haven't heard that in years
I love those clones
Lego Star Wars is gold
Those artists are amazing
The hand painted ones are amazing ngl
Probs to the person who hand painted those phase one clones they looked so sick
Those paint jobs are clean AF
I didn't know it was possible to paint Legos well
The paintings reminds me of when I used to paint my clones lol. So many clones that are just filled with ugly sharpie marks
Those painted figures are how I imagined mine looked when I took sharpie to them as a kid
Ikr? My sharpie squads were on par with these in my younger mind
I'm a bit jealous after seeing them custom paintined clones😂
Yo those custom painted ones are so cool
My brain on the last one:
"Oooh nice boxers"
So worth it
That Ki adi mundi is just as awesome.
That’s so cool!
Wow they are excellent hand painted figures
The seller did a really good job at painting!👏👏👏
RIP to all painted minifigures, breaks my heart
that ki adi mundi looks fire
Those look awesome
Probably the best pack yet.
They do look sick
That ARK trooper is dripped out and yes as you said that was well detailed and great colors
Worth it, anything hand painted is priceless
holy shit i held the painted phase 1 in my hand. i was helping the guy that sold it figure out if it was printed or not.
Those last two were not so great when it came to the painting, but I believe it’s the paint itself not the artist
Whoever made those custom clones should straight up sell painted minifigures
Whoever was doing the paint jobs on those clones, I'm hiring them
The blue arc trooper figure looks like arc trooper havoc from the rancor battalion and the yellow trooper looks like commander bly phase 1
Watch those wrist rockets!
These look sweet.
That actors clone voice from TCW is dreadful "forward!!"
DECAL ARM PRINTING ON LEGO CLONES!!?! *_IMPOSSIBLE!!_*
Lego needs a new hire bc this dude is talented 😂
I gotta be honest, the old plastic kamas kinda suck with how they limit leg mobility
hate how that mace windu did not come with the ucs set cause that would have made me a lot of money now😭😭😭
Worth the money
My favorite LEGO is Star Wars
You should keep the customs!
Where do you get these lots also can you do a tutorial for the background
Those are impressive
Honestly, I'd take the visor and pauldron off the custom ARC trooper. It really covers up the work put into it imo.
If I’ll be honest all I want is that knife
Where do you buy your lots
Definitely worth it!
Just like the simulations
Rip ponds he lived a good life but he dead
The 501st arms aren’t decal they’re from the 2023 phase 2 Rex from the ucs venator
You can see the edge of the decal and its not the same print

people pointed out its probably a Phase one edition of Bly haha

Spray some protective satin crystal clear

Looks like the took a Mark pencil and drew all over the figure bruh
Yellow is commander bly phase 1
Haha I wasn’t even thinking of that
Im gonna try this and fail miserably
You know I never thought lego was such a bad company until now
😂😂
Hey! I want to start collecting Lego Star Wars figures mostly the clone troopers do you have any good websites or places to get them from!
Where can I buy these?
Custom ki Adi mundi is real and can hurt you
I have a question how do u make the bottom spin showing the whole mini figure?
They're not as valuable as they would be unpainted but cool nonetheless
I got mace windu somewhere
Where do you get the lots??

How does bro have so much money
no way those are hand painted
Yea no shot u got that ki adi mundi in a 60 dollar lot, where'd you get it from?
Is this an actual seller, or just a lot you bought? I’d love to get some of these TCW clones!

@@studstache Thank you! I might have to commission some as well!
Do you sell Lego mini figures?
Clones are good, but not AS good as Mundi
I’m curious do people enjoy custom painted minifigs? On top of Lego, I paint warhammer with 40K and could easily make a minifig look very detailed.
Some people do and others think it makes them completely useless. I think if they come out as nicely as these did they are great. Takes a lot of skill

Ruined to you. Better to some
Hellooo?
Studstache?
Why arent you answering?
Probably not worth it if its hand printed
Your so full of cap that kadiu mundin custom came out a couple months ago
Okay so what is the cap? If it came out months ago theres no issue in buying it off someone. This comment makes zero sense
Handpaint is just an ugly MOC
