Really enjoyed watching and learning about the fishery. Can't believe I spent my whole life in NY and never went out west for steelhead and big browns like this. How does Oak Orchard compare with the Salmon River? I want to fish the tributaries but the crowds at the Salmon make me leery.

That fish was 3 to 4 lb Max and you had it out of the water way too long you wonder why it was struggling....try and be good stewards considering you represent public television of Vermont

RUclips and social media killed it, just like all the other tributaries.

Thats 3 ...4 lbs the most. I actually caught an 8 lb male brown on the Salmon River and it was a heck of a lot bigger than that one. Just saying.
