Really enjoyed watching and learning about the fishery. Can't believe I spent my whole life in NY and never went out west for steelhead and big browns like this. How does Oak Orchard compare with the Salmon River? I want to fish the tributaries but the crowds at the Salmon make me leery.
That fish was 3 to 4 lb Max and you had it out of the water way too long you wonder why it was struggling....try and be good stewards considering you represent public television of Vermont

Thats 3 ...4 lbs the most. I actually caught an 8 lb male brown on the Salmon River and it was a heck of a lot bigger than that one. Just saying.
