Hello my name is Abby and I am a full time vintage shop owner & owner of two antique booths. I spend my days thrifting and sharing those thrift hauls on RUclips. I've been self employed for almost 3 years now selling my vintage and antique finds at my brick and mortar store, Abigail's Artful Abode, in Poulsbo, Washington, online on all the major platforms including Etsy, Ebay, Poshmark and Depop and now at my two antique booths. One at Epic Antiques and one at Lander Street Vintage, both large malls in Seattle.
I really am passionate about thrifting reselling 2nd hand, vintage and antique decor items so they can live and be loved in a new forever home. Oh and vintage clothing is a newer adventure for me so look out for those videos as well!

Nice, but please put the items you’ve picked up and looked at in the place you found them. The vendor has curated then carefully. In general I’m not happy with the way people treat these items.
Germans are the same. My mum used to come to visit me in New Zealand, late 50s, strip off lie on the garden grass in all her glory, sunworshiping. So very jelly of you, love, love. Have the best time!
Thanks! Lol, that’s so funny because I was thinking the same thing last week when I was at the beach. The young in France rarely go topless anymore but older French women still will and Germans love being in their birthday suits. If they’re naked most likely they’re German. More power to them!

yeeaaa Thank you Abigail !! i get to visit my country trough you..it's been over 40 yrs since I left Versailles.France...Very soon I will be doing traveling to few places in Europe and can't wait..as a child we used to go to the south of France for the summer vacations...Actually I liked it there more than the city.

Fambulous finds ! My family and I (hubby Martin and daughter Versailles) absolutely agree that Paris is always a great idea, gorgeous, magical city. We have been several times and we were last there in December. I also bought a few flea market treasures as we visited a couple of markets as well.
( As you see, we named our daughter Versailles...two years prior to having her, my husband proposed to me in Versailles' Hall of Mirrors).

PS: we are in EU now as well, Italy's Calabria region, in Pizzo ( ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS)

I travel a lot and download google translator onto my phone. Just run it across maps, menus product descriptions and packing and it translates.
So funny, the first time I used it was in 2014 in France and it was not very sophisticated at the time and things were just garbled but I will have to try again.

Aww at 11:51 I have that EXACT same mirror in my booth! It was dug out of the woods by a friend, somehow surviving pretty much intact! I love the frame on it ❤️

That's a home exchange but if you book early there's a ton of great Airbnb's . I highly recommend the Marais or Latin quarter.

what flea markets did you visit?
Port of Vanve and Clingancourt but in June there are pop up vintage markets throughout the city.
What do you think the best flea market there is?
@@cardarmom5499 Honestly the best ones are the pop up ones. There’s an app called vide-grenier that has the monthly calendar for every event all over France. But Clingancourt is definitely a fun one to visit.
