I enjoy every minute of her adventures and I hope you did/do too! So lovely to see baby's food not being stolen. They are allowed to sit and eat with the adults. In other gorilla families they fight constantly over food and the poor babies get none.
I understand you think it is sad. But babies get a lot od breatsmilk up untill they're 4yrs old. So the first year or two it is okay if they don't eat a lot of solid food. it is just nature instinct. If the mom doesn't eat, the breast milk isn't going to be okay. So it isn't like they're not thinking about they're little ones ;). So no worries. And if they're old enough they've got to learn how it works to eat in a group ;)
