If anyone ever doubts DID is real, all they have to do is watch Minnie for awhile. She's absolutely her own little person. 💜💙
I said the same thing after seeing minnie go costume dress shopping with this friend (I assume! She talks to her like the friend in that one!). Anyone who has spent a lot of time around small children (I taught kindergarten) can watch her closely and pick out all of the constant, incredibly accurate childlike behaviors she displays. Her speech is exactly where a 3yo would be at, her hands are all over the place exactly like a 3yo, the funny things she says are exactly what a 3yo would say.... when I finally realized I 100% believed that minnie is a real, whole person, who thinks encina is her mommy (😂), I honestly had a very emotional reaction to that belief. It breaks my heart that anyone has suffered so much that their psyche had to resort to DID, especially when it's such amazing people like Encina... but it makes my heart feel full too, because they're never alone, they're happy, they have support around them.... the fact that minnie has a safe environment to front in us so amazing. Her friends are incredible, and I hope minnie never feels lonely for other children her age because she's got these people. 💙
@@s0lastsummer7 Yep. I'm a Grandma of 3, and Minnie is absolutely a 3yr old. And yeah, it makes me sad that she doesn't have any little friends. If I were at the park with my grandbabies I'd totally let them play with Minnie!!
But Minnie is her ONLY ALTER? the only alter she shows and fronts ? That’s weird. People with did have more than one…
Not saying she can’t be an Agere, which is what I think she is because she never shows/talks about any other alter as well as never shows the triggers
@@Cuddlingus What's an "Agere"? And I didn't know that it's not possible to have only one alter. I just assumed she shows Minnie the most because that's who viewers want to see??
"it's really shitty outside!" 😂😂😂 I know she meant chilly but it was adorably funny
You must be exhausted after Minnie has been out for an adventure, she has so much energy & never seems to stop lol
“Wait it has a baby?”
“No it’s a llama”
“........ Mama”
You know you have true/real friends when they accept you and your alters and interact with them as if they were in their own seperate bodies.
@marinasys2900 You are so so lucky!
@marinasys2900 Oh no I hope everything went okay, that must've been scary! I hope everyone was safe!
It’s so fascinating how the mind can think of ways to cope with trauma, and Minnie is the absolute sweetest kid I’ve ever seen
Please for everything wholesome protect her from any harm 🥺🥺🥺
My 18 month old is absolutely enthralled with Minnie. She gets soooo excited when she sees her. I think it’s Minnies energy that she loves. She just claps and laughs the entire time hahaha
Aww that's adorable! Let's face it tho, who wouldn't love Minnie!😍
Your friend is amazing with Minnie & i think its great how Minnie feels comfortable. & safe enough to front with them. Minnie is too cute for words!♥️👸
This is exactly how 3 year olds act. My heart breaks for what she must have gone through
Children need to be protected
No way- I work at a daycare and this is not how 3yr olds act.
@@mamamua4644 I have a 3 year old boy . Minnie’s vocabulary is very expansive . Those hands gestures too much . This is more of a 5 year old overacting . Idk and her hands are always closed in and in a fist motion the whole time . She ask questions and describes things perfectly . When she was being tickled you can hear her normal laugh here and there . I guess more videos are needed to make a valid opinion . I’m no expert whatsoever ever . Although I do work with children as a respite service provider .
@@raquelpk2 I have a recently turned 4 year old and other children as well. This is not how 3 year olds act lol
This is how a grown adult acts when they are trying to play a child. It gives off “hello fellow children” vibes.
@@raquelpk2 the brain is an adult. But the childish part of the identity has split off due to extensive trauma before age 9. Littles in someone with DID are often able to understand complex things because their brain has that knowlege, the memory just isnt accessible. Please kindly research before you try and claim she’s lying. It’s such a horrible disorder
@@raquelpk2 I also have a 3 year old.....and a 6 year old, and a 14 year old, and a 16 year old, and an 18 year old. Which is to say, I've personally been the parent of a toddler aged child for basically the last 18 years; essentially my entire adult life has been raising at least one similarly aged child, if not more than one. You could say I'm fairly well versed on the behaviors and mannerisms of 3 year olds, to say the least.
And what my lengthy experience has taught me is, if you're a parent and you've raised one child, you've become familiar with exactly one child. Period. Because the truth is kids are as wide and varied as opinions, no two are alike; some will be generally pretty similar, some will be considered unusual, but none of them are identical and none of them are predictable.
While Minnie's behavior is foreign to your experience of what a 3 year old is, she's actually not too dissimilar from my 6 year old at that age. Her speech patterns are very like my son's was, which is why my view of Minnie differs from yours. That said, neither of our experiences are invalidated by the dissimilarity between them, it's just a testament to the wide variance in early childhood behavior. But this is why your frame of reference for what a 3 year old looks like doesn't categorically discredit Minnie's legitimacy.
But what's even more significant than the similarities among children, is you also have to consider that while Minnie might be 3, she's been 3 for a drastically longer time than any chronological 3 year old has been. Thusly she's assimilated much more information than a standard child of equal mental age ever could. She's also sharing headspace with an adult woman and living inside of an adult body. By default of her very existence, she's been exposed to adult thoughts, experiences and interactions that no usual child would ever see. Even if she can't cognitively interpret the nuance and complexities of adult themes to fully comprehend the meaning and significance of those experiences, she has been undeniably influenced by all of those things in a way that no other child ever could be.
Which is to say, their ages may be the same, but there is nothing else about Minnie that is comparable to your child, or my child, or any other child on the planet. The irrefutable bottom line is that her experiences aren't those of a usual 3 year old's. Minnie has never ONLY been a 3 year old child, she's part of a very sophisticated system. Which is why it's unrealistic to expect her to comport herself in the way an average child would. She's an anomaly who has no equal. You just can't make comparisons between Minnie and average children because, while she has the self concept and perception of a 3 year old, her development is entirely unique. That said, the singularity of her existence doesn't make her any less "real" or authentic. It just means she's unique and truly exceptional!
“You ripped his arm off”
Minnie: “You can has his fingers.”
The thing I love most about Minnie is how much she reminds me of my kids at this age, the way she speaks is just so authentically 3 year old! It's not just dropping the Rs and the mispronunciations, it's the random sidetracked tangents, the long frequent pauses to organize what they're trying to say, the stumbling over words to find the right ones to express themselves. This is EXACTLY what talking to a 3 year old is like!
My grandson just turned three, and all I could think of when watching Minnie is how much he'd love to play with her! They talk and act exactly the same!!
Our Daisy pushed me from the front to ask if Minnie was a friend 😂
“you can has his fingers” 🥺😫😫 cuuuuutie!! 💓💓
I work with young children and toddlers for a living and I can confirm that this is definitely the charming mind of a three year old. So precious 🥺
Minnies little squeak when she refinds the llama is absolutely adorable
I have a nonverbal 3 y/o alter and no one gives a crap about them.
I’m so glad there are people who love you Minnie!
That’s really frustrating. I’m so sorry to hear that. Minnie always loves to make new friends
@@EncinaSevera thank you ^-^
I have so much respect for you being able to reveal your alter and I can understand how hard it can be for her as well. Your alters will always protect you when you need them to! I know people should never wish for DID upon themselves due to the responsibility it involves but its not a bad thing to have a part of you that will always have your back when you feel no one else can. Keep safe all of you!
Your friend with Minnie is just the most precious, what beautiful souls
Our Melanie ADORES watching Minnie, and usually will sit still and giggle along with her. She’s 7 and struggles with communicating openly, so finding someone she can resonate with and just relax has been a tremendous help. Thank you so much once again for letting us be able to witness Minnie’s pure joy and magic ❤️
Oddly this is helping me understand my nephew who is younger. the speech pattern is a lot alike and they're the same age. Very cute!
I also have DID and as soon as Minnie started giggling my little got excited 🥰❤️ Thank you for helping us feel less alone in our experince
The way she says "chilly" had me CRACKING UP. hearing little kids pronounce words in a way that sounds obscene is so precious and silly to me because they have no idea, just innocence.
My heart breaks for what Encina would have gone through as a little girl to have developed DID. I went through trauma too as a child, and it just affects you in a lifelong way.
Our 3 yr old is sooo giggly rn, he loved watching Minnie. Now he want a mama lama lol
Minnie with the llama is just priceless. Hope you're well, my friend.,💜💜💜
Minnie was so funny for giving the torn off sticker hand and putting it on the other princess by saying "you can have his fingers!"😂😂
She is so stinking adorable. SO much innocence with her and yes, you can tell she loves people.
Minnie is like the cutest 3 year old i've never seen. and I've seen a lot of 3 year olds. lol and i love that Reya is just so good with her. I wish i knew how to interact with kids.
Me loving mini is what gave my little Lavender the courage to come out. It was a huge shock when it first happened. Years later I'm more comfortable and familiar with my system. Thank you for your videos 🩷💜
Awww!! She looks so happy and looks like she feels so comfortable and safe. Definitely brought the smile i needed to my face. Thank you Minnie!
You've got to be incredibly brave sharing this with the world, and it helped fools like me to understand more about our mind. thank you
I could just watch her play and laugh all day long. She reminds me of my girls, young, happy and carefree. I'm so glad that you have friends that are so understanding and genuine. Kids can tell when adults are being shitty (bad people) and I doubt she would have been so comfortable around shitty people. Kudos to you all! ❤❤❤❤❤
My 3 year old daughter actually calls llamas "mama" too! So adorable.
I was unconsciously disturbed at first. But now this is jus the cutest thing I’ve ever seen
minnie is the most precious ever MUST PROTECT AT ALL COSTS
Your Minnie videos always make me smile🥰🥰🥰her giggle is just so precious and adorable, she reminds me of my niece and that just makes my heart melt even more
Literally had the biggest smile from start to finish! Minnie is so adorable, my heart 😭💖
your friend is so good with minnie omg
You are lucky to have such supportive friends...just beautiful
True. Having those kinds of friends are rare nowadays
God she's just the purest little thing 😂💙 it's so adorable that when she's saying it's chilly out it sounds like she's saying it's shitty out, but she wouldn't know that 😂 so sweet!
Right? I love her little accent 😭💓
Peamut bummer and mama just killed Me! You are a sooo cute Minnie! I will spoil you rotten lol
Thank you so much for sharing Minnie! She is so lovable... you all are!
She is definitely the cutest three year old ever! My nephew just turned five and acted a lot like this when I first met him. Kids are all so wonderful. (Watching videos with Minnie in them also make me start regressing to a toddler mindset because of little space which is sometimes bad when I’m in public haha)
I feel like Minnie and I could be good friends! I like her! - Karla, little (6 years old)
OMG Minnie's such a cutie!! I felt really happy because she's (all of you, actually) so loved and special!
@Pat Wallhack yes she is.
I wish I had some friends as you have. I have discovered even the mention to others I have DID is close to a guarantee of the friendship coming to end, let alone if a person were ever to see me become copresent.
The last time I told someone that it might be possible for copresence to occur so they could be ready for the experience just in case. They have been gone since around that time.
Having DID and friendships seems near impossible. I feel sad.
There are some who understand though. Don't give up!
Im sorry you've had to experience that. True friends won't care about you having DID so please hang in there, there are people out there who will love to be friends with you, they've just not had a chance to meet you yet! It may take time but once you finally meet your perfect friend/s you won't even remember those idiots names! Xxx
i will b eyiur frined
if you ever do another q and a with minnie i would love to know what she thinks about encina!!
shira yaari I think Minnie describes her as her Mommy.
If only there was a day where child personalities within our systems could just communicate and be happy and play together. I wonder if there would be a way for child alters to be able to write letters to other child alters. It would be a nice outlet for them.
Aww. Minnie is literally a little ball of sunshine! She's adorable and we can't wait to see more Minnie content! Sending love to you all!
~Rose&Co
what a joy it is to watch Minnie . Thank you for sharing her with us. :-)
Minnie is so happy and my little really loved seeing your little out! We've only co-conned twice and he was just really scared of the outside world. I've been trying to encourage him to explore the world with me and know he's not in the same situation anymore.
DID is real for sure. I have so much compassion. She is so so adorable.
Anyone who doubts Minnie is “real” watch when she’s being tickled. If it were fake Encina’s laugh would take over as it’s an automatic response to the tickling, but it doesn’t. It remains Minnie’s giggle because it IS Minnie.
That’s a good point
You an be an Agere and this IS real. But it’s ddlg it’s not DID, not a system. She referred to her and herself. Not we, never shows any OTHER alter, and has pictures of her posting in ddlg outfits
@@Cuddlingus sources?
@@hijislay3618 her whole page is a source ???? If you have more than one alter why Minnie the only one you show? Because you’re just a kinky glorified agere
Not everyone is sensitive to tickling. It’s pretty easy to not involuntarily laugh if you’re not sensitive to it.
And I’m sorry but the way she reacted when she ripped the sticker is not how most 3 year old would react to that.
I actually adore Minnie. She always puts a smile on my face. 🥰
Hearing Minnie talk reminds me of when I had to act as translator between my son and a new friend when they were around Minnie's age. I could understand their individual "dialects", but they hadn't been around each other long enough yet to understand each other. After a play date or two, I no longer was needed as a translator. 😂
Your friend is so amazing with Minne! I bet your friend would be a great mom🙂
This is how you KNOW Minnie is 3. All kids at that age, including mine, mispronounce words in a way that sounds like swearing, and the parent has to explain “no, she said FORK” “no, he said BRIDGE” or in Minnie’s case “no, she said CHILLY”.
I notice in myself changes of voice as well. It is actually rare for me to hear them/us speak as my system is very covert. They tend to observe and guide me when they manifest. They rarely interact with anyone and because I am alone so much it is rare for me to be with anyone when it happens. It has rarely been seen by anyone.
That was so adorable watching Minnie have fun and love seeing you and talking to you as well and I hope everything is going good!!
I saw your interview and I just kept myself thinking how lucky your friends who met Minnie are. She is adorable 🖤
The way she says its chilly has me in full giggle mode 😂❤🥰 so adorable 🫠
I have a little called BB and my husband always takes videos for me of her. She is 4 and soooo sooo happy. This reminds me so much of her. Thank you for sharing
❤❤💖💖💖cuteness overload I love the princesses dancing on the ceiling ..lol lilly is like that too she colors purple and blue dogs those are her fav colors hehe
I love Minnie so much💗 she's so precious!
This is the most adorable thing ever I used to work with kids and yes this is the exact things and behaviors they show Minnie is always in her own little world it’s so cute 🥰
I love seeing Minnie so full of life and having fun at her little age it’s just adorable I really enjoyed it it made me smile to I love this thank you Encina ❤❤❤ exactly her interactions with others that’s beautiful to love.
She is too precious. Love her!
This has made me incredibly happy and as fuzzy as a "mmama."
Okay that's just adorable. She is enjoying the people around her so much. This is nice to see. It's like watching a home video. I enjoyed watching it. Thanks for sharing.
I love seeing minnie comfortable! She is such a bright light!! I love knowing you have a close circle of friends who will help you when you or minnie need it!
Minnie has something in her personality that just makes me smile! Minnei is awesome ❤️
Minnie is the sweetest 3 year old ever
Oh my goodness Minnie is so cute!!! Sending her such big squishy hugs ❤️
I was smiling all the time. Minnie you are so adorable
Awh minnie is so adorable hope she enjoyed her sticker book she did a great job ❤❤
To be honest Minnie is SO FREAKING CUTE!
I am still learning about mental illnesses and I have read about a lot of them but DID is so complex that I was so confused. But someone told me to check out ur channel and dissocdid and after watching ur videos with Minnie I realized that its not made up and I don't see a grown woman I see a cute little 3 yearold who wants to have fun.
Actually DID is not a mental illness, there's no chemical or structural imbalance in the brain. Their brain is as good as they come, it's incredible how this disorder is just an "authors choice" type of thing is a technique the brain developed
I love Minnie and how kind your friends are to her
I got guided here by my psychology lecturer. I am so glad that you have started posting again, it is great on an educational point of view to try and get people to understand.
Awww Minnie is so precious 🥰
If Minnie doesn't make you smile then I don't know what will. How sweet and innocent and beautiful you are. ❤ love your videos. This made my day and my 4 year old daughter was just going right along with everything Minnie was saying and knew exactly what she was saying and laughing with her. It was so sweet except she wants that Llama now and hasn't stopped asking where Minnie got it 😄
"So she is a poopy!" Lmao I love how your friends interact with Minnie it's to freakin adorable. 🥰
she's so sweet and pure and full of energy im so proud of her ♥️
Minnie is just so precious. Such innocence and purity. I'm so glad I've gotten to know more about Minnie throughout the time I've been on your channel ☺️❤
Omg Minnie’s “mama” is everything...thank you for sharing her w us Encina!
I absolutely adore her!! 💜💙💚
so cute, i hope minnie is doing well
Minnie is just such a bundle of joy and makes everyone smile I love it!
i was literally smiling the whole video. THIS IS SO CUTEEE
I finally integrated from DID!?! I love seeing your younger alters. I'm one person now and i have an inner child who is alive and well. I still have Complex-ptsd and lots of work to do. I never thought I'd integrate, but my therapist said to try it and I could always go back to the way I was. So I tried it and it's been 1 yr and half and ask is well. God bless all of you!
Wow what kind of therapy did you do to integrate?
is it wrong to not want to integrate? /genq
@a_gh0st Not at all! There's two main treatments for DID/OSDD. Final Fusion (what op is talking is where all of the alters fuse together to form one new singlr identity. (This person will still have PTSD symptoms, and there can be splits that form new alters.) And then there's Functional Multiplicity. Which is where a system's alters stay separate, but they work to decrease amnesia, increase communication, and work on managing PTSD related things. (We have OSDD-1B, meaning we don't get amnesia, but plan to work on functional multiplicity). Remember, as long as you aren't hurting yourself or others, there's no wrong way to heal)❤
Watching minnie was just so adorable reminds me of my little girl only she will be 2 next year
Thank you for sharing this part of you with us! Be safe and well! 💙
Minne's laugh is so contagious 😭 she's kyoooooooooooottt!
Minnie is so cute 😍🤩💓 she nearly brought our little out watching this, hehe, she came close to see who it was. She says she wovz Minnie aww 💓🐺🖤⭐🇦🇺
This is priceless. I just wish the World would actually accept and integrate people that suffer from DID and other mental disorders into society, because the bottom line is that we all need to be loved, appreciated and understood. Maybe one day.
This was the cutest thing I've ever seen! I'm a new viewer and Minnie is just so dear! She was reminding me of my 4yo son in his behavior and speech patterns when he was three! So fascinating thank you for sharing!
You are so kind
Our 5 year old Jamie in our system LOVES watching you soooo much. He has also told Kahn, another little about you, and how much you have helped him Minnie. Kahn has autism and he struggles alot, but he is also now learning thanks to you.
Thank you Encina for sharing Minnie with us, she is a treasure.
this comment is so wholesome 😭
Minnie is adorable
Minnie is so adorable she reminds me of my little esme
You are so delightful! I have a friend who recently discovered she has DID and your videos have helped me learn how to support her. I truly hope you are doing well and finding peace. You are appreciated and loved so much by this random stranger (ME)!
This was so vulnerable! Thank you for letting us seeing the wonderfully sweet Minnie!!!
I just adopted an adorable, female kitten I named Minnie after your lovable little alter
