I was under debt review my DC was Debt busters and they did everything according to the book 📙 as Kelebogile is explaining her including the reckless lending part. I am now free fom my debts i paid more where and when i could, and now i understand credit better. And i would recommend Debt busters as they are a responsible DC and are registered. Im now rehabilitated. It's been a year since I'm debt free now 😅
Congratulations I'm hopeful to pay my debt off at end of this year also under debt busters , been burdening me more this year for some reason can't wait to get finish but stories like yours motivates me to continue

All the pointers she mentioned I experienced, process, I mean everything 😊. Advice would be to let the debt counsellor know of challenges upfront, especially when you can't make the specific month's payment and restructure the recovery. Funerals, unexpected expenses etc. The behaviour I adopted during the process especially not taking up unnecessary debt has stayed with me. Credit score improved, managed to get 100% bond approval on my second loan and paying on time everytime without breaking my bank😊

Hello Lemor. Thank you for kind words... Inspiring. ❤ If your income and your credit records are great for car financing , then when you found your car... Do your own finance application with each bank, then play ' beat the quote' game amongst other banks using your best quote. You can only get the best 'negotiation' if your income and credit are great. **Remember if you use the dealership's Rep for financing and you get approved by more than 1 banks. The majority, not all of these Rep will choose the bank that gives THEM the 'best commission deal' as the financing bank for YOU.😉

The debt counsellor should help with this, they should give you a clearance certificate, then submit it to the credit bureaus for clearance, you do it like lodging a dispute, TransUnion is usually the quickest to respond and update
How do I get assisted where I paid the dept but the creditor didn't update the collectors I ended up being listed, I manage to remove myself as advised on ITC but they still continue to want money. Which means I will double pay them

If you have written proof of the settlement (paid-up letter, proof of payment, settlement offer, proof of update from ALL 5 BUREAUS) use that and submit to both the creditor and the collector. CC them on the same email. ♦️♦️♦️ I usually advise people to always have accounts negotiations in writing/record the negotiation chat especially for blacklisted accounts BEFORE settling the account to avoid situation like yours.
