    Enjoying the series, not so much the weather. I’ve been on trips when the weather has persisted it down for the entire trip, and it does get to you. I did a trip to Scotland this year, planned on getting wet so took waterproofs, waterproofs to wear when first waterproofs were drying out, but had a week of wall to wall sunshine and temperatures in the mid 20degrees all week! Looking at a trip to the alps in 2024 so your videos are proving very helpful.

      Great roads overall, sadly my videos are not a great advert weather wise.
      All i can say is that even with the weather has it is, its been very enjoyable over all, would have been amazing in sunshine though.

    I have to agree, historicly it should have been kept as was.Again i can't help feeling sorry for your luck with the weather.

      Yea its a shame, its hard work admiring Mussolini's fireplace in the middle of a busy cafe.
      filming with cameras while people are eating.
      All feels strange and spoils the visit.

    I did the Eagles Nest last summer, the weather was perfect (sorry) and, the views are amazing. I also did a tour this year which stopped in Berchtesgaden for two nights, I didn't bother having a look again, the weather was crap like you had, quite a lot of the other people on the trip took a look and, said that the weather was the same as you had. Such a shame.

      I really wanted this part of the trip to be warm and sunny, the "Where Eagles Dare" Castle, Eagles nest and then the Grossglockner.
      I recorded this in August which i did expect to be nice.... goes to show its not just in the UK you cannot predict the weather.

      I was there on the 10th of August. The weather was crap but, thankfully we were in hotels 😁.

    Another great step in your adventure, thanks for sharing. I agree with your assessment of the Eagles Nest, the name and the history suggests a darker more murky experience of history but to have a cafe where one of the worlds most notorious tyrants held war meetings doesn’t seem to recognise the past…. Great vid, it’s a shame you guys are suffering with the weather, maybe it will improve as you move south…. Hopefully… 😊

      I realise its not a history they are proud of, but nobody is blaming anyone, it would have been better to be preserved really.
      They could have still built a café up the mountain too.

    With the weather you are having, are you on the trip now, or is it recorded earlier in the year?

    • @MotoTripTV
      @MotoTripTV  11 месяцев назад

      Its was recorded in the hottest month of the year.. August 🤣

      Even the locals told us that it was unusually wet lol. A week later and we would have had sun….. tent with an easily detached fly sheet is the next purchase.

    We went to the Eagles nest in 2022 and got lucky with nice clear sky's and the view was amazing. As for camping mate I take my hat off to you guys as no way I'm camping unless I got my back to the wall 😂😂 stay safe and upright guys

      Camping looks fantastic on film when its sunny and warm.
      Same with the views, not having much luck with that.
      Still enjoying the trip overall though 👍

    not my cup of tea. why would anyone want to be in that place of utter wronguns ev things

    • @MotoTripTV
      @MotoTripTV  11 месяцев назад +1

      evil wronguns is true, but its still an amazing build project even if it doesn't resemble how it was.
      I went to Auschwitz in 2021 and the same could be said there, why would anyone want to visit?
      its a sad place with unbelievable stories, but ultimately the story needs to be told as a reminder how evil humans can be to each other.

      If your in the area or passing it's definitely worth it, but i would go hundreds of mile for it.
      That being said the experience would be a lot nicer in hot weather 👍
