When he says that he noticed a pattern that a villain dies every 5 episodes.. u expect him to surprise u by not killing him ... Which makes his surprise obvious .. but then u expect him to not kill him .... Which makes killing him a surprise again
So it's better not to predict or expect his surprise .. because .. surprisingly... It perpetuates u into an infinite cycle of surprises

No he will still defeat enemy at 5th episode as you've expected that he'll do it before 5th episode. So unsurprisingly, surprise attack is gonna unsurprisingly surprise us by surprisingly killing enemy unsurprisingly. Surprisingly, now that I think of it, it will be unsurprising as we've already been surprised by surprise attack, so surprise attack might just surprise attack before 5 episodes....
