You are crazy if you think the Orioles will trade Jackson Holliday, Coby Mayo and Basallo. Thats three guys in the top 20 of prospects. Two in AAA and one in AA. Its not happening.

I don't think they get all 3 but it has to include Holliday. They can keep the catcher. Gimme mayo and Holliday for a brand new left side of the infield. Those 2 plus a couple of their lower level teenage prospects would be huge for the organizers
@@joshlewis575 pass for a pitcher who hasn't pitched 150 innings in his career with 2 arm injuries including a TJ. He's at 117 innings already and will be well over 200 this year including playoffs. Keep our studs and trade mid prospects for a #3 rental and a few bullpen arms. Trade for a top of rotation pitcher in the offseason when it's cheaper to do so. All teams are willing to trade in the offseason. The #3 will only make a few post season starts anyway. A strong bullpen can patchwork the rest. I'll take our chances with Burnes Grayrod and a solid #3. You don't go all in when you have a 5-10 year window and the GM's goal is sustained success. Last year goes to show you the best teams don't always win especially with the best teams getting a bye. Having 5-6 days off is great for rest but hitters lose their timimg and pitchers lose their feel.
Dombrowski's failure was his poor drafts which didn't produce much, and he brought David Chadd on to correct that facet of the game, but Chadd didn't fix the problem either.

Throw in a relief pitcher and that trade might be worth it honestly. But we have him until 2026. We don’t need to trade him without a miracle type offer. Honestly a good position to be in.

Skubal is not generational. He’s a rising star top 3/4 pitcher in baseball without a doubt. Unfortunately you guys dismiss his elbow issues. You’re not getting 3 top 15 prospects for Skubal. You should contact some Baltimore RUclipsrs and get the other side of this situation. Highly recommend Ryan Ripken(son of Cal).

Ryan Ripken is the same guy who low balled this team saying Mayo isn't even on the board, and said the primary asset of the trade would Be bassallo, a sucky defensive catcher who is going to turn into a first basemen, sounds to me like you don't understand the situation either lmao, enjoy having your season go down in flames because you traded for Fedde who hasn't been good in half a decade, and Garret Crochet who's a reliever waiting to happen.
I don’t think we take the risk on prospects without an oversell on Baltimore’s end. We’re not that far away, have 2.5 years of control with skub, and we have a decent farm system. It’s probably just likely that skubal isn’t moved.

Hitters are easier to project and return way more WAR over a career. Ripken likes Mayo, you like Skubal to each his own. Skubal will stay a Tiger, they will rot in the cellar with the White Sox. At least be honest with yourself about your franchise. You have holes because your team wasted a ton of top picks. That’s why they are in this situation. 39 million of your teams salary is going to Baez and Maeda. -2.7 WAR combined. 1 hr 2 wins for 39 million dollars.
