Hi Tekky, Thanks for sharing. For the 1st feature, the related text don't have color change after Emoji icon tapped. I am using iPhone 13 mini IOS 17.4.1. Do you know the reason? thanks.

I think the color will change once you tap into the search box (that will activate the emoji text connection.) Can you try that?

It should work- try powering down phone, then restart. This function is for the Messages App.
The words associated with emojis don't turn orange until you tap the emoji button. When you're in abc mode, they remain black.
Write your message, then tap the Emoji button under Keyboard.
Wait for the words to turn orange.
Tap an orange word to replace it with an emoji. If there's more than one emoji that you can use, the Quick Reply field shows you options to choose from. Also, make sure emoji keyboard is selected in settings- keyboard. Hope that helps :-)
