Seldom do you get an order that's early enough to possibly accept a second order on the same day.
Their business is all lunch. One order per day. 9 out of 10 orders, from my point of origin roundtrip seldom take less than an hour.
In Broward County, FL; the orders are often 8 - 10+ miles to the pickup point, and they pay $10 base + $10 tip.
The orders all stem from EZCater, and all the tips are pooled.
I do accept a few of their orders, usually local, and $25 or more. But, I am not getting dressed, starting my van and driving 15+ miles roundtrip to deliver $200-$300 worth of food for $20. $20 is fine for the driving, of for an hour of my time, or to load and unload a wagon load of food, but you have to pick one. I'm not doing all three for $20-.
I work in Clearwater and I often do 2 orders per day. 3 isn't uncommon, either. Last week I did 12 orders (2 orders on 3 days and 3 on 2).
I used to except two orders and then dispatch would take one away from me. Screw them
I accept 2 to 3 orders a week based on the mileage.. all other orders I reject are just insane mileage for $20.. I agree

It sounded like the on duty was more to get a GPS beacon for them to send you offers. The one training video even said, if you had to drive somewhere out of the ordinary, turn on duty for a moment before you leave, then turn it off so it knows your preferred location of the known GPS beacon. So even if you are off duty. Oh well. Time will tell.
Be careful Your Driver Mike some of the orders can get decrease pay exactly 3 minutes after pick up. Then when you verify that actually none of the order was reduced the customer was still getting everything ordered, by calling the restaurant. Support will lie to you and the supervisor too. That's not all folks if you say no cancel the order they will do that and give you $15, then you have an order for later in the day they tell you that it is unavailable now. Easy cater calls you later in the day wandering why the catering order has not been picked up yet. Call support again they give you a bunch of BS then tell you that the catering order is on your app it's your fault for not checking. After delivery they deactivate your account because the CPO does Not care about Gig workers.🤔🙏💜

The numbers don’t match my 1+ year experience on the platform at all!! My avg doesn’t exceed $27. I do my best to set up the food as a pro does, with gloves and hair nets! It started very good but slowly, the $10 tip became a standard for many customers..
