- The 1980s is known for its pop culture icons, and Max Headroom is right up there with them. And we just learned that Max Headroom is getting a reboot series. Now, before you guys flip out, its also been announced that Matt Frewer is going to be reprising his role and the iconic Max Headroom character.

I heard in the Tiny Toons reboot Babs and Buster Bunny are going to be twins. That's stupid, because they were unrelated love interests in the original.

I loved both versions, on the BBC and on ABC, of the show and even played around with the idea of writing an episode for it with a plot similar to The Running 🏃♀️ Man. Maybe I will get another chance to write ✍️ 🤔 for this show!...😁🙂🙃😄

Really hoping this is still going to happen! I only discovered Max Headroom this year (born in 2003 and my dad was familiar with the character when he was on TV in the mid ‘80s). I think he’s absolutely fascinating, both as a satire of yuppie culture and of technology as a whole. I definitely think that he’s relevant enough to make a return!!

A real interesting story.. One that I would love to see a real thorough documentary on and never really gets mentioned much.
A RUclips channel called "The Bizarre" did a documentary about it. Also one of my favorite RUclips channels, Oddity Archive, had a couple of episodes about it & was the first RUclips channels to talk about it.

The thing that's dumb about the Tiny Toons reboot, is they want to make Babs and Buster twins. In the original, they were boyfriend and girlfriend. They never give the date in the show for George's birthday, but you can get the year, by the clues.
Can't wait for this!

Hmmm might be interesting to see how he would look now with the strides made in CGI. That said I am a little mixed. I mean I loved the show but, I don't know, everything doesn't need rebooted.

Totally agree!! One character that 25 - 50 years in the future, they will have to do full CGI so they can always keep that same voice and face!
For a minute there I was expecting another pirate planning to hijack ar Dr. Who broadcast.
That would be very interesting and in another year or so.. even timely. Arent we coming up on the anniversary next year?
