Operates through Carlink app. Cannot run directly.

blaupunkt lauderdale 900 has certified Android auto ,apple car play and 360 camera support also
I'm analysing the same currently and found some RUclips videos where lauderdale is extremely laggy in real world usage. Only advantage is that Blaupunkt is certified android auto and Apple carplay. But it seems too costly for that one thing. Also go for Blaupunkt santa rosa 985 (not 980) and this is superior than ft. Lauderdale.
I'm also considering to go with woodman as it seems promising

why is capacitor battery is given on dashcam? does without parking kit dashcam records parking video for sometime as they have capacitor battery and generally how much time it lasts?
No it doesn't record parking video without parking kit. You have to install hardwiring kit to get parking video.
R u sure whether RAM and ROM is shown in the display. Is it possible to check independently
You can use some software to check it, but it can be manipulated. You cant really be sure unless you check the hardware.
I have replaced the woodman backup camera with the Audio wheels backup camera which is an up mount camera that suits better for VW polo, but it's not working and not video any suggestions how to fix it
Not sure. Either contact Woodman service centre or get it corrected at any of the local car accessories shop to you.
I have really bad experience installing this system. It hangs frequently and also gets off when I change gear.

Woodman or Blaupunkt fully confused
All new systems are good for the first 5 months.. then lags.. lags miserably.. google maps will quit suddenly. then when u try to again input the destinaton with keyboard, the keys will lag. If u see all the cars systems are same.. chinese.. same design. I got crosslinks. same thing. Then i got woodman, again same thing. They claim ddr ram and all, but its pathetique..

Almost all electronic devices (except a few) are made in china and rebranded later to sell in their respective countries. Even iPhones till date were made in china. Similarly, all Android car systems are originally made there and then later imported here and rebranded with the company that imports it and sold here. Nothing new in this.
So either you want the device in your life/car and want to use it for its advantages or do you feel you can live without it because you prefer the product which is purely made and sold here.
Everyone has their preference. You have to decide what's yours and act accordingly
