Awesome 👍😎. I've been trying to catch a steelhead for a few years now hopefully some of these tips will help. I'm getting older and have some serious health issues , but I will catch one before I can't fish anymore.
Again thank you 😎 from Oregon

I don't fly fish for steelhead. I am a float/drift fisherman mostly. But April's video series is full of valuable information, no matter what style of fishing you do. She is also gorgeous which might help the information stick in the brain a bit longer 😉. Tight lines from Oregon.

In Michigan, anglers don't seem to observe any kind of etiquette. I was swinging down through a run when I guy walked right past me, got into the river within my casting range and started chucking and ducking.

April- I came across your channel via Kevin Feenstra- I just fished with him. Wow- fantastic episodes. How do I gain access to your Mini Spey Chapters 1-7. Addicted to Swinging for steelhead. Thanks.

I have fallen in countless times, both river and surf and have never had my waders fill to a debilitating level. Water pressure pushes the waders tight to your skin. Do you get wet, sure. Hodgman had a famous wrongful death lawsuit they successfully defended themselves against by providing their waders do not fill with water to a point where it could cause drowning.

Don’t at all agree with you and your comments are not safe. I chased a fish into rapids, filled up with water, I un-snapped my waders which wrapped my feet, with one arm saving my fly rod, I made it to shore from the fast moving pool below the rapids. I wasn’t scared of dying, but of losing my rod/reel. Fortunately I was fit enough to make it.

Courts agreed otherwise my friend. Look the case up. Was a wrongful death case against them. Appreciate your thoughts on my comments...you know what they say about opinions....
