just right! he, together with Terence Reis, makes from this band something more authentic, than "just" perfect cover interpretation group. Mark's material is classic even today and there's no doubt it will be played in future, as well as some pieces from classical music. but now it is so close to original idea and interpretation... I am little bit afraid that in future without this connection it wont be on the same level (but may be I am wrong :-) hope so)

How amazing would it be to see, mid song, a young Mark Knopfler walk on stage with a guitar hanging round his waist and blow these imitators into the weeds! There is only one Mark Knopfler but I do envy Terence and the rest of the band in that they are living the dream and keeping some iconic music alive and in the present.
The guy singing Mark knopfler parts sound just like Mark. I also have a suspicion Terence Reis is the one and only iamaphoney genius. If this is true I absolutely love everything he has done in music.
