This tutorial was awesome! I'm dressing up as Koan from Sailor Moon for a ball next year and needed to learn how to do her buns and this helped tremendously. Having naturally thick hair also came in handy as it made my buns stay propped up a little more easily without any hair spray.

You probably could. You'd need to take a second section either behind or under the victory rolls for the braid. Also, you'd need to have pretty thick hair so the hair that's left down wouldn't look too sparse :)

Kayley, I absolutely love your videos! I used to have super long hair, but recently donated it to Beautiful Lengths - an organization that takes the hair and makes wigs for cancer patients. I now have absolutely no idea what to do with my short curly hair. I feel like I wear it the same way every day and none of the braids/styles that I used to love seem to work with it at this length. These are adorable. Personally, I'd probably move each one further away from the middle just a tad so they look more like ears and less like a bow. But these are brilliant ideas.
My mom professional cuts hair and taught me the basics. i cut my boys hair, the littlest has a mohawk. I have done fades, etc...but for me I always had to got to a professional because my hair was shoulder length until about decade ago. I still kept going to professional because I had no clue how to cut my style of hair shoulder length or long (its to my bottom). Being long I just love having it layered and face framed long layers. After this video I did your trick. THANK YOU! I happy with how it turned out and glad I have professional hair scissors for the mohawk kiddo. :)
