Great games! However, you missed mate in one at 24:21. Rd8 is mate. Instead, you played Qg8, still winning but less optimal.
Not really... Black was covering d8 with the bishop and then the knight blocked the white bishop's path.
@@chello189 the pawn supports the mate on d8, not the white bishop. Also the pawn is blocking the bishop so it's not defended
@@thecobra0174 yes, I see your point, but this was late in the game and the difference you highlight is M1 vs M2 😄
It's good to spot these big flaws in the games of GMs, but when it's our turn to play we screw things up by hanging pieces or even bigger blunders.
