I have two stores on Zazzle but I am going to close one and bring all products into one store. I know what you’re saying about having numerous stores in different niches and that would be fine EXCEPT for the whole ZRank BS. If you want your products to be found in searches you have to have a minimum ZRank of 4, right? That involves a fair amount of work just for the ONE store, let alone for every store that you open up. Instead, I am going to drop the niche products into Collections. So, the store might have a Wedding Collection, a Party Event Collection, Retirement Gift Collection, etc. Soooo much less work than having a separate store for each of those, and MUCH easier to get the ZRank to 100%.
What's your take on Collections vs Categories? I've been using Collections for _themes_ aka similar artwork on the products. I've not played with Categories yet but I'd also like an easy way to navigate by _product type_ (for example acrylic wall art, plaques with easles, photo cubes, etc). Sometimes Zazzle's interface isn't all that intuitive. Wondering which they emphasize more in terms of keywords/zrank.
@@1WhoConquers I couldn’t tell you which they favor, if any. And I use both Collections and Categories. For example if I have a poster featuring a dragon and a birthday card with a dragon I will put the poster into the Poster category, the card into a Cards category, and I will put them BOTH into a Collection called Dragons.
@@goilo888That's the way I've been setting it up just now. I've been tinkering with it and found a couple of interesting fact nuggets. 🌰 products can be in more than one collection, but can only have one category 🌰 changes to a product collection seem to "take" faster than a change of category. As a 💻 programmer I'm 🤔 maybe categories have more weight, at least in how they affect the whole database over there.
@@goilo888Appreciate your advice! How long does it take for you to make your first sale? I have created more than 90 products in my store for a month but without many views ( five views maximum). Any advice to improve our views which will lead to sale? Appreciate your advice!
Many thanks for these tips! This is one of the few channels here that extensively talk about Zazzle. So happy that you are here; you bring lots of value to Pod in general, including Zazzle, which is the platform I use the most, I'm a bronze seller on Zazzle, and you're right; occasions and gifts are the majority of the products sold, so focus on that. Too bad the course is CC only; I'm curious about your views on correctly tagging on Zazzle, which is still frustrating for me sometimes. Best regards.
Quick question: Would it be better to pick an occasion as a theme (like a wedding or birthday) and have lots of different styles of things for that one event or would it be better to pick a style or subject (like Japan, fishing, or cats) and then have all types of items using that subject as the main design?
Hi Autopilot Passive Income. The Zazzle design I'm working on now is in the Coffee niche. I'm happy with the traffic that I generate from it. Is this in the Gift or Casual category?

Hi There! So if I sell skateboards in my niche, can't I sell skateboarding theme teeshirts for instance, do I have to make another store for that?
