    After fifty years of chasing tones etc I finally realised that, really, Strats are what I tend to gravitate to so I own three which are similar, of course, but different enough to keep it interesting. I have a mid 80s MIJ Squire which, at the time was the best Strat you could buy. My second Strat ( red!) was beautifully built of Warmouth parts about 25 years ago and has lovely Van Zant PUs. However, what’s become my favourite lately is a rather cheap second hand oddball Legend Strat with a reverse headstock and reverse slant bridge PU ( suppose to give a Hendrix vibe). Despite not being the highest quality it’s got lots of mojo, is very light, wonderfully resonant and , surprisingly , has great PUs. I occasionally play my non-Strats but they’re mostly wall decoration these days.

    Squier Classic Vibe guitars are like the "custom shop" of Squier guitars.

    Great tone you got there sir!!!❤
    You opened my eyes and ears on how great this guitar can be.
    Is it the one made in Indonesia or China?
    I'll wait for your respond before ordering one.
    Thank you!!

    I’ve recently purchased a bullet telecaster to use as a project and I was very surprised with the quality and the feel. Definitely a big improvement compared to how squires were when I was starting… love the fiesta red on yours!! Sounds amazing too! Take care

    Omg i loooooooove how you play you're Strat ! Prices or models are not that important, the only important is the feeling of you're hand on the guitar 🥰
    I have a lacker neck to on my strat and that was the only one i have tested, that was the perfection to my hand (Fender Strat Mex Jimi Hendrix) It's my number one forever
    You're video is really cool ! Impatient for the next one ! 🔥😎
    Chers from France ;)

    These have come a long way, I had one in the 90s and it was a terrible guitar in fact it was so bad that I traded it in for a Hohner rockwood which was better but only marginally. Back then it was difficult to get anything that sounded good for less than $200 but now for that price it's quite easy to find something has a nice sound and is actually enjoyable to play.

    I have the exact same guitar, same year and i suscribe every word you say.
    It has some SERIOUS mojo (mostly the neck, which is amazing and the pickups too).
    But the tuners feel cheap(its an easy upgrade) and the bridge too. But anything related to sound and feel, feels as laeast as twice the price

      🤘 The tuners on mine are amazing. I can play for weeks and not have to tune the guitar (while going around and playing gigs and rehearsal as well) 😁
      I'll upgrade the bridge and the pickups soon

      @@DimitrisLoizos im thinking on a Vegatrem on mine. Everyone says they are great, and even Greg Howe has one in his guitars, and the company is from Spain (im from there), so its a go go for me xD

    Does the fiesta red show up as the nice faded almost salmony red? or is it a super prominent red? Sometimes hard to tell in videos and pictures based on color grading an what not. I just bought the white blonde of this guitar and its amazing! Ive always wanted a fiesta red strat, so very curious if the color is right!

    • @DimitrisLoizos
      @DimitrisLoizos  2 года назад +1

      That's true, sometimes with the colour grade might look a bit faded (which is somewhat faded). If you check Fenders website, I think it's the most accurate colour to the real thing!

    I'm definetly thinking about buying this guitar (even more after watching your awesome videos), if i could ask, how fat is the neck? i currently own a 335 and i love it, but it's kinda unconfortable to play the "hendrix/mayer chords" with the thumb in that neck since is really fat, is the neck on this strat better in that sense?

    • @DimitrisLoizos
      @DimitrisLoizos  2 года назад +1

      I'd say it's pretty thin. Compared to my Les Paul studio which has a really comfortable 59 profile, feels definitely thiner and faster. The radius is not crazy as well, which works well for me !
