I would love to see an in depth video on how to mix colors or what your tip or advise on what to do or get first to start mixing for a beginner in mixing…
@@baavproductions I got the Pantone chips and a digital scale. I’m stuck bc I feel like something is missing gotta be a mixing system. You be lookin out and showin love. I love seeing your success and hard work.
Missing one important piece which is the mixing system. I’m actively working on that video and will explain using the system I have and where to get it😎
Glad you love them! I only heat press for max 10 seconds usually less. About 300 degrees. The heat press at the end is really just to make the print extra smooth and plus it gives you a extra benefit of insuring a second curing process for the ink
Your videos are so great! Love the hustle. 2 questions: 1. Do you use any additives/reducers with your white ink? (What white ink do you use?) 2. I have the same heavier badass squeegee you use. How does that compare to a regular squeegee and a lighter Easygrip squeegee? Does it affect print quality or is it just more ergonomical?
Thank you man! 1. No reducers or additives in my white, straight out the gallon. In this video I was using stark white from monarch color 2. The badass squeegee is amazing. I specifically have only been using it for white ink. White ink can be a pain manually so the heavier one is just built strong and helps me maintain a consistent pressure and force on the ink. Regular squeegees are great as well but for my white ink I wanted something that will be a bit easier and less strain on my wrists so the badass squeegee is a life saver in that sense. The lighter easy grip squegees are just not my cup of tea. They are just too flimsy for me, I’ve tried them out and don’t like them. Which is why I got the heavy bad ass squeegee
@@baavproductions Thanks for the information, you're awesome. I noticed that you used to push and started pulling and that Badass Squeegee probably helped with that. I'll have to dust mine off and give it a shot again sometime! It's nice to know you really enjoy it and that it's worked for you. Thanks again man, keep up the good work!
@scotlandskysurf8948 yeah used to push but now mainly pull which is the right way and the badass squeegee is badassssss. I see where they get the name for it hahah thanks for the love! Definitely try that out again
@@baavproductions Awesome, another printer discontinued printer! I wonder if there is another T series that works using with standard ink. With this kind of investment I'd like to be able to print other things with it also. What software are you using for seperation and half tones?
@dubworth yeah film printers are a tough world. There is no “official” printer made for us screen printers for separations. All printers are usually just regular printers that we just turn into printers for simple black seps. When I first started I used the canon pixma ix6820 printer for my seps since it can print up to 11x17. I have a link in my description for it.
The whole print run from this video was 500-700 shirts, the 200 was just the first stacks in the beginning 😬 it’s been a grind but pushing thru man it’s all we can do

Still using the Canon Pro 100? Almost all the printers people are using are no longer sold. Do you just use standard inks to print film?
I am using epson t3270 printer currently with standard inks

I thought you said "Bob" 😂
Hahaha Baav!!!
Hello, are the inks you use hard base?
Confused on what you mean by hard base
@@baavproductions I meant to say Water Based Ink Vs. Plastisol Ink, which one do you mostly use?
I use all plastisol inks
@@baavproductions Thanks brother, following from Kenya, East Africa, nice job!!
@casillascicero7944 of course, I was born in Kenya Nairobi so that’s cool!
Your a hustler 200 shirts manually 💰💰💰 i see a automatic in ur future but you should still have manual just incase in headaches
