@@flo_27 i heard that the m5 will weight 2.4t but with 748hp and almost 900 nm of torque, which gonna give us a time of 3s or less 0-100km/h
Rumours are around 2.4t, 750hp and 1000nm
2435kg for sedan (touring is 50kg more) and 728hp.

@@PapiAndrey how do you know how much power it'll make? What it is, is a wagon that'll weigh over 1K+ lbs more than an M3 wagon (which is the best sport wagon yet) and close to 1K lbs more than an RS6 & E63s wagon. So it's really not an M car.
@@vannevels6758 I cannot say for certain that i know what Bmw engineers are doing, but i’m confident that i’ll be correct.
They likely aren’t going to give the G9x a different S68 than the ones in M cars now.
Burger motorsports has already shown a stock (non label red) XM putting down 600awhp. With their JB4 on an ots map, they got up to 860awhp.
Not even a custom map and all hardware was stock. No downpipes, no other bolt ons, not even intakes. They didn’t even use meth.
Not sure exactly what the drivetrain loss would measure considering that some of that power is from the electric motors, but that’s shouldn’t be far off of 1000hp to the crank and electric motor combined.
With bolt ons, it would obviously make more power, a custom map would take that further of course. With or without meth, it should have no issue making 1000hp to the crank.
Now an actual ecu remap would be able to take that further, JB4 is just (the best) piggyback. It might be good, but it isn’t an actual tune so it can only do so much.
You can see what an F95 X5M Lci does with the same S68 without electric motors.
The M60/60i Bmw’s also use an S68
i hope this thing isn't too electrically assisted as it may not be the best super sedan/estate anymore. i hope it is still the king and destroys its competitors like the Audi rs6/7 and Mercedes AMG E63s and GT 4 door
Gt63e is still faster than any m5.
New m5 is 100+kg heavier than gt63e and it has 110hp less power.
It's gonna be embarrassing for m5.
P/W ratio is worse than M5 CS and even m5cs got spanked easy. I don't expect much.

BMW has the worst implementation of digital dashboard screen. It is like a bread cutting board or a giant ipad. You just screwed it up in front of the driver. Very ugly and cheap design.

I made one mistake: not buying an M5 CS when I had my F90 Competition in marina bay blue. My current G80 is also not bad, but V8 is V8. I'm aiming now for an RS6 MTM 1001. They are located 20km from my address.

Is this wrapping teasing campaign really working? I know, the classic recipe for a car-launch so waited. But this cars have so much design potential, why waste beautiful product shots on this wrapping thing. I am a designer, i just want to see how cool the spyshot are on a Nurburgring capture, that “omg, just cought one, so beautiful!” This marketing teasers just don’t do justice for the design work behind. This are f great machines, just show them to the world!
