After actually doing the lesson I must admit I’m blown away by your talent. The brown eye replacement was something I would never have thought of and it was an amazing seamless replacement. That orton effect is addictive . I wanted to over use it. I was really not a black and white fan but you made me think otherwise. Playing with those color sliders was fun and I found myself liking some of the effects especially adding cyan. Endless possibilities . Thank you so much for all of this. It will be a great reference for future review. I also looked at your website. OMG there’s so much to learn. I loved the wide angle lens lesson. If you ever have some free advice to give I would love to get a reasonable wide angle lens and tripod that I can travel with. Never had either. I’m retired now. Looking to travel and on a budget. I’m keeping my Nikon D5100 and not upgrading. I know there is something about a motor or not in the lens but not sure. If you have any recommendations for both I would appreciate it. I value your opinion . Last..I still think there are some functions I’m not able to access on AI. That \ button just doesn’t do anything for me and my overall tool response is slower than yours. I also had a few crashes when using custom sky images not in the original offerings. I did talk with them about all of this and so far the actual remedies have not solved all issues. Long winded I know but I appreciate you so much. You have saved so much frustration. If you can only solve Covid 🦠
Thank you so much for your kind words, glad you got so much out of this challenge. As to your what lens and tripod to buy that's a hard question to answer but start here: www.digitalphotomentor.com/what-lens-should-i-buy-next-and-other-faqs-about-camera-gear/ and here: www.digitalphotomentor.com/tips-buying-a-tripod/ I only wish I could solve that last one!
Thanks for another helpful tutorial on LuminarAI. I am sure I would not know how to use many of the tools that you have reviewed in your videos. I am sure I will have to revisit them often to remember the tips you have shared. I feel like I have to edit a photo everyday so that I can remember all of the features. With Luminar AI will I ever have to use Luminar 4 again?
Glad it was helpful! No if you have Luminar AI you want to choose that and just use one. The only thing you'd ever need Luminar 4 for is the ability to have layers. But with the new update coming soon in March you likely won't need it - the new sky replacement with reflections is coming.
Excellent choices. I wondered about ever using the white vignette. So glad you used it . You developed bokeh in that Indian lady image. Very cool. I’m hoping the face tools can be masked out in a group to focus on a single person or just a few. Was hoping they had a “dopey” slider to help with my selfies🤓

Excellent, Portrait editing is my big challenge, so I'll work hard on these and see if i can improve. Thanks.
Yes it can be tricky but Luminar makes it easy. You can do it!
Excellent workflow, thank you
You are welcome!
Thank you. These are phenomenal descriptions.
Glad you like them! Thank you very much
This was fantastic- thank you!
Glad you liked it. I suggest getting an upgrade to Luminar Neo if you haven't yet.
Thank you so much.
Most welcome

Yes you can mask the face tools as needed. Sorry not "anti-dopey" sliders yet. Put in a feature request!
I noticed when you slim the torso (arm/shoulder) of the man in the third photo the door post also moves, is there anything you can do to prevent this?
Not inside just Luminar AI but if you use it as a plugin for Phootoshop you can do it on a layer and just mask that part out
