Lovely fly. I use a needle to thread the braid through the pelt of the zonker strip, you might need to thread a loop of wire through first, tucks the braid up flush with the zonker strip and stops the hook kicking round and casting the braid. You only need to thread through about a centimetre.
New to tying and your videos really help good in depth tutorials put me in the mood gonna give this a go tomorrow then hopefully get a few in the net tomorrow evening , tight lines
Hi Lindsay, just tying your mini Snooby and rather than using Hens number 18 I have used the material from the Zonker strip originally removed to get strip attached and it makes lovely dubbing . Just saving some money. Big Davie.
Hi Lindsay, Great video as alway. A quick question, would you use this as a point fly fishing the washing line or would you tend to fish it solo do to it’s size. If so what line would you tend to start with? Thanks Gary

Only on its own around a 10’ leader and best on a fast glass or DI3.
love all your videos that looks deadley
You won't regret tying a few of these up buddy.
I like to put two hooks on mine: one on the front and one on the back.
I have tried that but you just don't get the same movement.
супер! пошёл вязать)))
Cheers buddy.
I like to catch fish so I'll tie a few up but I'll have to keep it hidden from my more 'purist' mates!
You should, those fly tying police man they would empty your box.......lol
