- Just before kicking off their home opener on Sunday, the Minnesota Vikings surprised fans with an indoor snowstorm.
During a new pre-game introduction, flakes started falling from the sky and the effect caused a flurry on social media.

@California Dreaming I love it when people bring the whole 'super bowl' thing up. But what they all fail to realize, the vikings actually WON the NFL title the year before they started calling it the super bowl. So no super bowl title, while true, they still hold championships.

@@kurtestes1575 nope meaningless "title ". the nfl merger had already occurred 3 years prior. It would be like saying that the NFL hadn't included the afl teams. Also several NFL teams switched to the AFC to even out the league balance.

Soft queens fans trying to remember when they played in metropolitan stadium. That's the ONLY time they were even a bit imposing. Now just Minnesota soft.

@@oinkoinkoink great. Not anything like when they REALLY played outside. That used to be one of the home field advantages. Just like the lions. Bears, Packers, Bills, Patriots all have a clear home field weather advantage. Watch the raider packer game several years ago. The L.A. raiders sat/stood in their jackets next to the heaters the whole game. They got destroyed.
@@beavwarius when they played that game at tcf it was one of the coldest games in nfl history. The weather absolutely affected the game.
