I grew up near the Yurok reservation. Thank you for trying to help them and the other tribes by bringing attention to their plight. It's hard to see them still trying to recover from all of the injustice they've experienced over the years. They deserve far better.
anyone know what happen to the native girl getting rape n pregnant while in coma by a very scary ugly african male nurse? whoever hire that nurse should be punish too - some one looking like him get train n given a job of a nurse - what happen to the girl - they should abort her right away or they should be punish same - the kindest to mother n fetus is stop the rape asap n that male nurse should be raped till he die - he can't get pregnant but simulate pregnancy in his body 🥶

Also need to work with the community. My heart breaks for them . I’ve had 3 experiences alittle with trafficking and all 3 times it was indigenous people were the ones tryn to do the trafficking of the girls. So I think that has to be addressed also . Something went wrong and needs to be fixed

The poor treatment of women is endemic in native communities worldwide. Its not a result of colonization because it still happens in countries that were not colonized. Its often worse in countries that were not colonized. In parts of Africa right now womens groups and media are speaking out about the high rates of wife murders.
Same in the US, the leading cause of death for black males under 45 is being shot and killed by another black male. For black women, the leading cause of death is being murdered by their partner.
Most people would be shocked by the real; numbers, and the media mostly ignores the story or pretends its about racism.

US native woman go missing AND murdered 12X more than any other ethnicity ON THE PLANET despite only making up 2.2% of the population. 3rd leading cause of death is MURDER. 96% of rapes on Reservations is by NON NATIVES but we can't prosecute them because of the "laws by the US government ". Why don't you actually get the correct information and I don't mean from "FOX news". But you won't place MY missing cousin situation at our feet. Do better be better.

That story hurt my Soul, because on my Mother side, her Great, Great Grandmother was a pure Taino Indian; and most of them were Exterminated Horribly by the Cruel Spaniards. 😢
