    Likely a release medium coating for the mold process... like Pam no stick cooking spray.

      Didn’t seem to have any effect on the grip once I got the first couple miles in

    Excellent review man! Glad they are Wa-Pow approved. 💥
    They do have a surprising amount of grip and I can say they do have pretty good grip on wet surfaces compared to regular thanes or mad wheels.

      Thank you so much for checking out the channel!! I would say that’s because of the cut out treads. Like a regular tires vs a race slick you’re going to get better traction in wet conditions with treads

    Definetly a mold release on the wheels and probably why the competition stone tumbles theirs to remove it. It will wear off with time but does look off putting initially.

    Another great review dude 👌🏼👌🏼
    I'm quite fond of wheel reviews so I'm biased 😂
    Nice to see them on the Stinger!! 🔥
    but please replace the default/stock thick risers with ones around half the size 👀
    I love setup videos so really enjoyed that segment 🤙🏼
    Hopefully see you set up some 90mm wheels on the Stinger / Flow at some point 😁

      I might have some winter projects coming up to the channel of a build…. Stay tuned.

    Could you review the hub motor sleeve version of these too, please?

    • @SteveLord

      Hub sleeve versions will still suck because they’re hub sleeves.

      @esk8jaimes 10 месяцев назад +2

      @@SteveLord I mainly use hub motor systems, was about to buy 110mm Rovers before these 105mm Galaxy Pro ones were released, but no one's reviewed the hub motor sleeves yet... I've tried both 120mm Cloudwheel Donuts and the knockoff 105mm sleeves.

    Apologies if I missed this - it sounded like these are more comfortable than the 110 Rovers - but do they provide as much grip as the Rovers?

    • @DrewElia
      @DrewElia  10 месяцев назад +1

      Rovers are great if you’re looking for an overall well rounded wheel. This wheel is if you love thane style but want to have maximum grip and control on street

    Did you put riptides on here? In your video of the stinger you said you might put riptide bushings on it. It has 100A bushings already I was wondering how it'd make it more stable swapping em out.

    • @DrewElia
      @DrewElia  3 месяца назад

      I did not put riptides on this board. I found it to still be stable and fun at carving speeds with stock bushings.

    • @michaelwagner6410
      @michaelwagner6410 3 месяца назад

      @@DrewElia would the rip tides make it more stable ? Even if they have a softer durameter?

    • @DrewElia
      @DrewElia  3 месяца назад

      @michaelwagner6410 so technically yes, it’s all in how you want the board to perform. New bushings with different size and duro can absolutely change the ride feel and use case of the board. I like fat cones and chubby and barrels all Krank formula.

      @@DrewEliaso I have the stinger... And ... These Tynee boosted 105s are INSANE. like. Not even comparable to the Galaxys in hardness. What in the FUCK was Iwonder doing and how is this not more known. They are literally doodoo in comparison.

      @DrewElia  10 месяцев назад +1

  • @esk8jaimes

    How do these compare to 110r Rovers in wet riding conditions?

    • @DrewElia
      @DrewElia  10 месяцев назад +1

      These are street riding, it’s a urethane style wheel so not meant for wet conditions like the 110 are, those are a rubber compound more like an AT tire
