We are going through a Hurricane - pesonal and national difficult times - This is not a political song - its an emotional great moving song - The best ever represented Israel. I am amzed !! You dont have to win the contest - Be yourself , loyal to your message, art and feelings . The video art , the choriography together with your great voice and performance qualities are mind blowing !!! And for those wondering about the translation of the hebrew words at the end of the song : "We dont need big words - only prayers (praying quietly ) .Even though its hard to see (darkness..ceos ) - You (her loved one who is absent) always leave a small light for me..." This is what we Israeli's feel after exprerincing such a Hurricane - There is always a small light in the edge of the tunnel . It is about October 7th. We lost more than 1000 people on that terror attack, that invasion… and it’s about missing someone.. that they were taken away from us.
The hurricane is what we went through that day.
The sun in the end is a symbol of that as well because it happened in sunrise. And the tree is one of the trees from the party area where 260 people were murdered.
The dancing is a notion to the party as well and our slogan “we will keep on dancing”.
This is a very special one for us.

On another note, this song is about Israel's grief.
In an utopian world, both sides would be able to relate to one another, but reality is that we are still traumatised and heartbroken from 7th of October... And it doesn't look like the other side sympathises with our grief... Or at least calls for the hostages to be released.
So the war goes on... and hatred grows.
You don't really know if the numbers are true because only Hamas(a terror organization) is giving the numbers.
Hammas is using its citizens as a human shield, while all their leaders are hiding in the tunnels or in quatar living a rich life. And then israel is blamed for defending itself and wanting to bring its children back home. Terrorist killed innocent people at a rave party ( rave party for peace). Hammas is still shooting rockets at israel till this day... Where are they getting the fuel? Why aren't they giving it to the people? And so many more facts to many to write here. Hammas killed Arabs and Bedouins in the October 7. So if you think that comparing yourself as a black person to Palestinians ( because you think you are fighting for justice or something) go get your facts right and study history. So free Palestinians from hammas ( by the way in gaza they kill gay people, throw them off rooftops, i wonder if that something that worries yiu as well or you only care about color???
