Thank you for sharing your perspective. I resonate with everything you said. The only difference I see is how meditation can be viewed as a flexible tool that benefits everyone based on their unique needs. It can be used occasionally to reset your mental state, practiced regularly as a short session to set the tone for your day, or embraced as a deep spiritual practice to connect with your consciousness and pursue profound spiritual evolution. Meditation is for everyone and should be appreciated, not imposed. Moreover, meditation comes in many forms. You don't always need to sit still to meditate-walking, dancing, gazing at fire, humming, or simply focusing on your breath are all valid practices. The essence of meditation lies in being present, grounded, and focused.❤
@@tatiananugent8434 meditation is flexible! I LOVE thé examples you listed! Walking meditations (sometimes referred to as Buddha walks) are my favourite! Thank you for your reflection :)
Lovely and profound Aura you have❤❤ ❤. I don't necessarily agree with "it is impossible to not have thoughts". It is not the goal of Meditation, but with time it IS possible. Not for a long period of time, but even a small amount of time No-Thought is super beneficial.
Absolutely!! Fleeting moments :) often my students think they are doing meditation "wrong" because they have thoughts so I like to be very clear that thoughts is often a part of it! Thank you for your reflect!
Girl you seem quite nervous in front of the camera 😮 ... Meditation is good for everyone, except for those who are hell bent on running on autopilot....there might be some instances when you release your repressed emotions, and it might be trouble some for that particular instant...but in long run, it heals... ! And yeah, it is possible to transcend thought completely...though thought in meditation can be very subtle and it keeps melting into the infinite Oblivion! Good effort though to have some unique content to reach to new audiences on RUclips. The algorithm might not support this though because it runs on a positive loop. All the best pretty girl 😊
@@beetribe123 hi Bee! I love to move when I talk and I have a second camera below me I look at for recording for other platforms - which I could see as coming off a bit nervous! Meditation is great which I share the neuroscience behind in other episodes but I find a barrier with my students maintaining a practise is the misconceptions I share here. Thank you for your reflection :)
It's hard to defend and explain a contrarian stance on why meditating isn't a good pursuit, but the clickbait-effect is needed to start building an online profile and channel :v :P Lovely and a bit brainy/nerdy and that's a match somewhat for a neuroscientist. 🙃😇😹💛
@@synaptic.sylvie5584 Yes, it is a great pursuit, and you actually can't really get into it from the neuroscience-perspective, I'll give you 7-10 years to conclude that for yourself, you'll learn a lot ;-) :P 😍😇💛🙃🧐...and I am sure , as an intelligent woman, that you'll get there...🙏😜🌸
This is so interesting! Thanks for sharing your perspective 🩷
@SummerRaydiant it is MY pleasure :)

@synaptic.sylvie5584 It all starts with reducing the flow of thoughts and separating our Being from our Thoughts and Emotions.

It is a great pursuit! But a lot of misconceptions around it which can make it tough for people to get into the practise :)
