The real question is which team (or teams?) stays healthy. Buffalo was an early victim of the injury bug when Quinn, Skinner, Thompson and Samuelsson, all key players, were hit by injuries, and they couldn't get into a regular groove. Should any of the eight Atlantic Conference playoff teams suffer a similar string of injuries, Buffalo is right there waiting to take advantage.
As a leafs fan, I hope they are a threat this year, it’ll be fun games to watch this year plus I feel bad for sabres fans. You guys deserve some playoff hockey it’s been way too long
Toronto's goaltending is likely to be a disaster but their scoring is good enough to get them into the playoffs. (Marner can't be traded as he has a NMC and loves being in Toronto) Not sold on Tampa's moves. I think losing Stamkos is going to hurt especially at the start of the year. I think they will be a wildcard team. I hope Buffalo stays healthy. All teams are playoff vulnerable if they suffer injuries to key players. No one has depth to overcome losing people.

In what universe is the goaltending worse than last year?
Matt Murray will be the Leafs' starting goalie by the end of the year.
@oldhab7890 just because you want it to happen doesn't mean it will. I think Woll is going to be a Vezna candidate this year. He has the talent.
I think the Sabres best chance is to pass Tampa Bay. I don't put high odds on that but it is possible.
White door, white paint, white desk, white ear buds. Weird dude
