I am one of them kids I am 44 years old right now I grew up on the West Coast music I love it forever I was smiling and laughing at the same time because you said everything that always told people
Respect from Aotearoa New Zealand. Grew up on Daz & Kurupt in the country, a place called Parakao isolated from everything but we was in tune with all music especially rap music of the 80s, it found its way here in the middle of nowhere
Doggfood... classic. I was in California at that time. Navy base off Channel island I 🤔. Duke's place. PCH right down the street. I just turned 46 June 8th... GEMINI. LOVE THE WEST COAST. ❤
The most underrated Producer of all time! I’m glad he cleared some stuff up because Dre gets way too much Praise when Daz was really that Nigga! Hence the name DAT NIGGA DAZ!
So glad Daz named the lawyer he used, My grandfather was a legendary guitar player, not sure who owns his royalties or likeness, going to reach out to them. 🙌🏾
I bought his album "This is the Life I Lead" in 2001, after being hooked on Death row. I was just outta school and my local record store in Scotland unbelievably had it in stock. I was blown alway how good it was.
daz not lying about Luke im from Miami but moved to the midwest when snoop and dpg came out, gang life had a big influence on me i have every daz album, and theres a 2001 dpg album with a luke feature on it
Honestly, this is the best DAZ interview I’ve ever seen to date. The guy is hilarious part from suga free, This is the only other rapper i would love to like spend a week with like just chill and listen to him tell stories man.
This interview inspired me from 23:20 - 29:00 is straight GAME...loaded with ideas... he is sumbody i would sit under to learn how to make some bread and make a brand
I found this interview from a random ass clip I saw here on RUclips from a random channel lol. Man i remember when u had to go out an buy albums, some of those MFs was expensive too, man those were the days
Daz is easier to get if you agree with dealing with the lawyer who is the best music lawyer available and he loves Daz it’s a decent price and Quik will do beats for artists too he likes new music
Daammm Daz can really write a real estate book for the street ninjas urban areas with that lingo. How he broke down 4 houses is an acre joint wow opened my eyes now I understood frfr
Classic work. I already had Dogg Food before that, so I was fully aware. BTW, All Eyez On Me wasn't the first Hip Hop double album. It was "He's The DJ I'm The Rapper" by Jazzy Jeff And The Fresh Prince. Ironically also the first Hip Hop album to win a Grammy. No I'm not kidding
Daz gives great interviews. Always honest and tells it like it was. No BS no cap. Very underrated producer. West coast legend. I'm from Texas. We fuck wit Daz
What a great interview. Good question and great answers. To think I almost past up on it (just to tired to listen to talking). But glad I watched it. Stay up Daz. Big THANKS to Home Grown.
Protect 🙏🏾🙏🏾 this brother, he has so much invested and held within through the music business…Daz was the one doing the most & is extremely, savvy, intelligent, creative and solid. .. I just saw another podcast and it was about Dre not even being ‘that’ producer behind Death Row and it was Daz.. And Dre conjured up breaking off Daz financially to keep quiet..Made me think is this the reason why Detox never got released as expected..Crazy-Daz worth ethic as a producer matches Pac worth ethic as a rapper.. That Gemini wave👌🏾💯nd’ ♊️…😎😎
Daz 1 of my favorite producers and he's in my top 10 and now 1 of my favorite motivations. He'll show you how to make money and keep 💰. He right. Why sell your catalogs for yeah alot of money. But if you don't have another way to make 💵 then you can live off that money but if you don't have money coming in then you can go broke. But you keep it it's going to go for generations. Plus his mom had money that she passed down to him so he got money coming in from everywhere. Smart man.
man Daz is that dat dude! Dope interview fellas, could listen to this all day but as it were, got me through the first hour of work today lol! Keep it up guys.. ❤
This man needs to be acknowledged just as much as Dr Dre as far as the Death Row legacy. I’ve always wanted to know how hit songs was produced but the Industry is about soooo much f*ckery that they can’t or don’t document/record it. Yo this man then stole all the equipment to producer them joints and suing folks for using it! If that ain’t so Death Row sh!t I don’t know nothing! 🤣🤣🤣
Daz’s stories don’t change 💯 ✌🏽
Daz knows he would've been thrown in Suge's Red Room back than had he got out of hand lol!
Daz is retro sold out detergent not a rapper my guy
@@alanmason7784 oh for real? Daym. Who was the daz dude in the the dogg pound music i been listening to?? 😱

People can say whatever they want about Daz, but no one can knock his hustle. 💯
LGBT style gay
He earns a lot from his music sales and owns. A music pressing building in Memphis or Detroit he’s into real estate and construction
