Thats been my only issue with this album experience. The music is fire and full of ideas and stories that can go for hours but all these other interviews were more interested in basically reading his Wikipedia back to him
@@flyguywiththebowtie i did, she kinda went in circles w/ her talking points. Also felt she mostly approached him as a fan, these dudes are actually his peers/friends.
@@flyguywiththebowtie respectfully the interview with Nedeska didn't do it for me because she didn't get to live with the album. She even admitted that she didn't get to spend a lot of time with it. I know if she had enough time to prepare she would kill it but she didn't. Honestly if they ran it back I would be locked in.
The BEST ScHoolboy Q interview!!! this has the most unique questions out of all the interviews I seen him in. Most interviewers ask the same 10 questions but Home Grown did it right. Thank you!
I watched these dudes (black hippy) grind over soundwave beats, having local camera man shoot videos over LA and under bridges, being each other hype man back in 08 around the same time as Nipsey. Fast forward till today they are still the hardest group in the industry with each member holding their own weight
59:21 I'm glad he changed his mind and said so PUBLICLY. He actually practicing what he's preaching: if you said it publicly, you gotta rectify it publicly 💪🏾💪🏾
Aye I ain’t gon Cap I loved seeing the human side of Q in this Interview! This was absolutely fire everything he spoke about showed his realness and his intelligence 🔥 🔥 🔥
This why I been A fan of Q” the authenticity he always brought not to mention him rocking that blue hat in every recent interview because he really likes the hat 😂🤝🤝🤝
I waited a while to watch this interview because I didn’t want to hear the same ol questions being asked. Shoutout to y’all, this interview did not disappoint. Much success to y’all, and much success to Q. ☮️
Lil Wyte also had "Oxy Cotton" back n the day and UGK, Z Ro, Cash Money, Trick Daddy, 3-6 Mafia & Project Pat been making prescription pill joints since 95. 🔥 musik
This album I have to sit with. It’s taking me a long time to get into it, but that’s normal for me, I be so stuck on the last album it’s hard for me to transition, but I know I’m a rock with this album hard once it hits me right
Dude, doin a show in withdrawals is some CRAZY shit. Admittedly, I was doing dope so I'm sure the withdrawals were different, but when I quit cold turkey, I couldn't do anything other than throw up, sit in a warm shower for hours at a time, and lay in bed while feeling like all my muscles wanted to explode out of my body. I prlly woulda gone to rehab if I had the money; quitting shit without it is a fuckin BITCH. At least when you go to rehab, they usually step you down and/or give you shit to help with the symptoms.
Mac Dre is one rapper I can think of that rapped and did the drugs he talked about. Q show mad love to Mac Dre, messy marv and other Bay Area rappers. He be sayin phrase Yadidimean. He got that influence
I THINK ARTIST GOTTA UNDERSTAND THAT COMPARISON OF NEW AND OLD ART IS BASED IN SCALING GROWTH THE OLD ART IS A REFERENCE TO SCALE OR MAKE A ASSESSMENT SO YOU CAN MAKE A JUDGEMENT ON THE NEW ART ITS USUALLY NOT WITH BAD INTENTIONS
Underated lyricist everybody screaming kdot kdot nah y'all got to mention sza.jrock& schoolboy q they all went platinum & j rock held that tde flag high when the was underground
This is an example of why I’ve been saying that The West Coast have been creating the best high album quality level music for a while now. Human MC’s/Rapper’s and top tier production. 🔥🎼🎧 West coast artist still to this day don’t the credit they deserve. TDE the Best label of my generation but mainstream media will have you to believe that NY, The Chi or ATL been running hip hop the last 10-14 years. Which is a lie imo. 🤔🤔🤔 Danny Boy would win his match up in a Death row vs TDE doe. That boy could/can saang. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

Finally an interview where they ask him real questions about the music and lyrics. Every other interview so far has been pretty surface level

Facts same here. It's rare to find 4 talented, hungry, artist and they all be under one label. Top had the plan, Rock, Dot, Soul, and Q executed it 💪🏾
