Nice build 💯
Very nicely done. I always liked white airplanes with a touch of anything else. Fly's great! They always do. Keep up the good work. Also, just wanted to add a .25 size nitro engine will fly this well also, and with .40 it's a rocket.
Had one of these 35years ago, bought the old rudder elevator engine version and put an old Mcoy .35 In the nose. What a fine plane, had the old girl for 8 years until the elevator servo packed it in,just called balsa usa and ordered a new one. This new one will be E power, elite power 32 11x8 prop and a 3 cell 4000 ma. Lipo pack for power.
Chris whats the motor combo?
Chris great video, please keep up the great work! I have an old version of the stick with a Super Tigre 61, it has the trainer for multiple flyers at our club but is beginning to show it's wear. Could you provide me with details on what you used for the motor and electronics, thinking of building a new trainer for the club this winter and would like to try electric. Also was the motor mounting bracket part of the kit or one you came up on your own? Thanks in advance!
I kind of just shot off the hip lol. Micro servos for the wing ailerons, mini servos for Rud/Ele, 60amp ESC and a 1050kv motor. The system is set to run off 3s or 4s. Currently flying it in 3s for nice soft sport flying. The motor mount pieces came with the kit.
@crmodels thank you for responding, very much appreciated!
@@crmodels what did you end up using for a prop?
@@joshpendgraft1241 APC 13x6.5
@@crmodels Thank you!
What main gear and tailwheel assembly did you go with??
Parts I found at the hobby shop and online. Landing and wheel pants are off an Extreme Flight 48” plane.
Yay for kit building!
I have one finished except for mounting the engine. I may change it up to electric.
