    Eddie created the Motorhead guitar sound, played with tons of feel and balls, pure instinctive guitarrist, perfect match with Lem & Phil. They're rockin' up there somewhere right now!

    Eddie absolutely gave Motorhead "that sound" that they never let go of. I don't say this often but truly overlooked in hard rock history. Great player man!

  • @sigmundhightower1766
    @sigmundhightower1766 7 лет назад +66

    One of the most overlooked in the history of hard music! Innovator..., visionary.
    Listen to the covers of MOTORHEAD songs during the "fast eddie" era..., hardly anyone can capture the essence of this player.
    Jeez..., just the sound he got out of his instrument is incredible!!!

    I've always loved Eddie's guitar playing he was quite clever using a strat over lemmy's bass sound that's partly why Motorhead never sounded the same without him

    I know not everyone will agree but Fast Eddie is the Original and Best. I've seen Motorhead many times over the years, the were my very first gig in 1979 aged 13.
    I've seen them in every decade since and although I very much like the current line up. It's just not the same, there was more energy back then, they rocked that hard you had punks and metal fans in the audience equally in awe!

    Because the manufacturing of the good freon was discontinued. Once Motorhead couldn't put that freon into their motorcycle crankcases, things just weren't as cool anymore. You know, when your motor is reving well into the red, thats when the Rock & everything else gets HOT. The promo girl says you got a hot tube and shows you the full stack. Too long at redline, the crank might let loose and blow out through your head. Thats when you got a "killer crank" going around making people duck for cover
