I did something like this for my build on my first playthrough; I went with a powerstanced estoc + rapier build, with some appropriate fashion and (of course) dashing good looks. I was roleplaying as something akin to a suave bard/duelist.
Kudos to beating him like that. I gave up using the Blasphemous Claw at some point because despite working, Maliketh still managed to hit (and kill) me every time. I almost always managed to get him down to 1/4 of his health when he starts unpacking the anime spinny slashes. Got him this morning though eventually. Great fight, except for these slashes man.
OMG....Every time I see him, he's incredible. The concept play is a difficult boss, and he clears it without getting hit. It's amazing that he's even calm and neat in his movements are neat, You're amazing, you're awesome
You make Maliketh look so SLOW. Videos like this show that Elden Ring still has it.The bosses might feel massively unfair to the new player at times. But it is still possible to learn their moves and style on them in time. All the other options ER gives you are just extra, if you want it. Awesome video!
Not to take merit out of this amazing video but sometimes it's really RNG dependant. ER bosses do a lot of damage and it takes much more time to learn their moves because margin of error is minimal and the punishment is bigger. I mean level 1 runs you have to play perfectly anyways.
@@lionheart4424 Yeah, the RNG is a huge factor - fair point. I'm currently on the "Elden Ring is great!" upswing after beating a difficult boss in my own playthrough. There have been times when I've thought the game is bullshit and there definitely will be again.
