Sadly, most New Zealanders don't understand what the Bastion Point occupation was about, or understand NZ's history in general.
Hey I am 13 and I am very interested in NZs history and I am currently learning about the occupation of Bastion Point.
@ NATO Good on you. I hope you do well in your studies. History is an interesting subject - it promotes better understanding. People can't fully understand the present without knowing the past that's lead up to it.
