Running Across the US against Plastic Pollution

In February 2020, our co-founder Sam finished running 3,055 miles across the United States against plastic pollution. He ran close to a marathon a day for 6 months to bring the ocean to middle America.

This was so inspirational and motivating. I am currently a XC Runner on Cape Cod, Massachusetts and I love running.
I have been running practically this entire summer so far and have enjoyed every bit of it. I love the cause and reasoning of this organization and hope our Plastic Pollution gets reduced! :))

THANK U FOR THIS INSPIRING VIDEO !!NO COMMENTS ALLOWED on the ? " PBS Broadcasts," but were there comments allowed, this I would have written this!!:: I'm one those who remembers seeing allot of METAL LIPSTICK TUBES AND WONDER if metal housings are any "better", environmental, than all of this PLASTIC ? I went to wash a plastic (Tupperware etc, ) container of the sour cream I'd put into it for dipping potato chips and celery. Now , I do not have a dishwasher- but I remember when I did, sometimes the plastic melted all over the washing machine! NOW, as the dirty plastic with bits of stuck sour cream, still sits, soaking , after three days in soapy water , I think of all the plastic I must collect to put into garbage bags to recycle. I'm thinking plastic SHOULD only be allowed to be utilized in the building of air conditioners and the like; I PREFER dishes made of Melmac, and are fired and glazed, because they CLEAN much easier. The plastic WATER bottles that have sat in the sun , unknown to the customer, of course, produce a chemical reaction that I PROVABLY CAN TASTE! What's wrong with "good old-fashioned " paper plates and using more CERAMICS you guys ? I't's just a change in our "state of awareness! "I Sincerely, Would love to hear that "Recycling" corporations would POST NOTIFICATIONS...Pls Stop Using So Much Plastic. and that those corporations could be detoured from thinking THEY MUST MAKE MONEY on recycling it !
