Gleim test prep is the way to go. All the questions in Gleim are exactly the same as on the test. It even set up the same. Definitely worth every penny.
Congratulations bruh!!! That is a huge lift of your shoulders brother!! Congratulations man. Kings is outdated, that's the issue. Sheppard for everything else 💯. You got the checkride man. Just remember DPE wants to see that you are safe. Make sure you are vocal in the plane. Everything you do say it out loud, even if you are correcting for attitude or altitude. He or she cant read your mind so be vocal. That was one of the best advice I got from my instructor. The DPE mentioned in my feedback. Once again congrats man.
Gleim is the way. I made a 97% on my PAR and I used Sheppard air for IR 97% as well. I used Gold seal for ground school and it was the same as king with your experience. It was useful for general info but I don’t recall getting one question from their practice written on my actual written.
@@jacobfoti665I also did the Sporty's and my practice test questions were so close to the real test. Sporty's does great at keeping their practice test questions up to date. I passed with a 92%.
I like Goldseal for Private and Instrument. Working on instrument right now. Did Goldseal only for my private and got a 90% on the PAR written… and that played a big roll into my oral for PAR checkride… took 45 mins. I used the course even after the written to help study for the checkride… and I think having the initial goal of understanding the content instead of just studying to pass a written is key. So after I finish Goldseal for Instrument ground, I’ll do test prep with Sheppard Air (simply a test prep supplement), but only after I feel like I understand the concepts fully. Then I will take my written… and then continue to use Goldseal as a study guide up to my IR checkride.
I used Sportys Learn to Fly course to study for my private pilot written exam and I got 92% on my exam. Sportys does really good at updating their practice test questions, it was so close to the real exam. I took Sportys practice test several times until I was consistently getting over 90%, so I knew that I would pass when I took the real exam.
1000% use Sheppard Air for your Instrument written test. I got a 97% and there was only one or two questions I didn't recognize. Plus its only $50 dollars. Completely worth every penny. Everyone I talk to recommends this ground school as well to pass the test. Only draw back is that it doesn't teach you the content just how to pass the test.
sporty's online training is really helpful!!! currently 36 hours in and about to take my stage 3 check and end of course check. then my checkride. good luck to yall
In the reddit "research" I've done and few CFIs I've talked to I've concluded: Sporty's for Private, and Goldseal for the rest of the ratings. Also: Pilot's Cafe for IFR resources, Plane English app for help with radio comms.
I used the Sportys course and most of the questions were the same on the written i personly did not score in the 90s but i probably could have got higher if i was more consistent
Hey Ruben, first off congrats on passing your written so glad to be able to watch your journey! I'm doing the kings ground school as well so do you have any tips for anything else I should do to pass my written since not a lot of the questions in the kings school is actually on the test?
Read these comments, Im hoping that will help! Also something I forgot to mention, that the questions are all based out of the “airman knowledge testing supplement for sport pilot, recreational pilot, remote pilot, and private pilot” book. DEF get this book because that’s what they use are reference for every question.
Hey Ruben, I know of some people that say just taking the practice tests on kings often won’t expose you to all of the questions in the kings bank. Did you go through all 800+ questions in kings and get them down before trying the practice tests?
Your videos are amazing. I really like it. I am a new subscriber to your channel. but, some problem on your RUclips channel. that's why don't reach your target audience. Can I talk with you ?
Gleim test prep is the way to go. All the questions in Gleim are exactly the same as on the test. It even set up the same. Definitely worth every penny.
Your dad showed us your RUclips channel!! We’re so excited for you! Your dad talks so highly of you! ❤️❤️ best of wishes on everything!
Oh wow that’s so heart warming to hear.
Thank you!

Thank you bro!
Yes great advice!!
Gleim just learning the subjects and sportys for grinding out test at the end
GLEIM has a good book for the private written.
I’ve heard about that as well
I’m using it right now for my written private

Sportys is the best for private (got a 95) and sheppard air for everything else, in the middle of it for instrument right now!
How similar were your questions to the sportys question bank?
@@jacobfoti665I also did the Sporty's and my practice test questions were so close to the real test. Sporty's does great at keeping their practice test questions up to date. I passed with a 92%.
I know the school “ATP” really pushes to study through sportys for PAR.
But yeah I didn’t go that route lol. Seems like sportys is the way to go!
Let’s goooo!!!! Congrats Ruben you’re awesome man!!! Can’t wait to start my PPL
Thank you for watching bro!
When do you start?

Yeah Goldseal and Sportys are what I hear most.
I'm with ya. I did King's for IFR and hated it.

Yeah I think sportys is the way to go.
Currently at 7.9hrs as of this comment and I plan to hopefully be done by August 13th! Looking forward to meeting you out in Arizona 🤙
Let’s gooo! Good luck to you!!
@@irubenguler Thanks man means a lot and, good luck to you on your upcoming checkride!

Oh yeah I hear Sheppard air is def the way to go!!! Can’t wait for instrument
Yes. Sheppard air...don't cut corners. Spend time in the phak and airplane flying handbook reinforcing the questions you get wrong.

Soon👀
@@jacobfoti665 pretty damn similar. I only did those tests till i was getting around 85-90. got a 83 on the test not the best but a pass is a pass
I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought the same thing when it came to multiple questions being right on the written 😂
Brooo it was rough hahaha.
It was always like 2 answers could’ve been the answer hahahaha
🎉🎉🎉 congrats 😘😘😘
Thank you 🙂❤️
Congratulations 🎉
Thank you!
I did Pilot Institute and it was good even though I did 82% on my written lol
Good work

Ouu good advice! Thank you!!
Sheppard air goated
ASA, Gleim and Dauntless.
I used the Sportys course and most of the questions were the same on the written i personly did not score in the 90s but i probably could have got higher if i was more consistent
So mad I didn’t do the sportys! SMH
@@irubenguler if you get your instrument i know a lot of people that say sheppard air is good for and sports is good if you like videos
I’m prepping for my written. Did the written have weight & balance questions?
Mine didn’t
Practice test from sporty's and psi exams has tests also. Kings is trash. Spend time in the phak and airplane flying handbook.

Yeah I did not go through all 800.
Might have been the issue. Only went though the practice tests
All questions you get wrong on the written are fair game during the checkride
Are you part 141 or 61?
141
