  • Showing you around the Minolta 440Ex 110 film camera. Images taken in southern New Mexico. 110 film is also known as pocket film, and 110 cameras are often called pocket cameras. I highly recommend this camera.

      I like 110s grainy ness. I still shoot but getting it developed is getting harder and harder. Films time is almost up. The world will be 100 percent digital soon.

    Great video, really shows off just how good 110 film can be on a modern, in-production film stock!

    Really Love that Minolta camera, I believe that is better than the Ektra 110 all series.

    Not sure if I'll get an answer but I bought a 440ex, and film, batteries in, everything is working but when I depress the trigger I get the red warning light. I've tried shooting with the flash, close-up lens, in the sun, with all of my lights on, but still the red light. Know any way to fix this?

    Hi! Great video and photos!
    I just bought a Kiev 30. Do you know if the new 110 films fit inside it?
    I am new using this format. I know the Kiev 30 uses 16mm film but can it use the new ones like 110 films?
    I cant seem to find 16mm anywhere :(

    Hi, great video it tough me a lot but I have a question, does the camera needs to be loaded for it to turn on? I have one but it won’t turn on so I don’t know if I should get film

    • @room111photography5
      @room111photography5  4 года назад +1

      Hi, Pamela. My cameras are off-site in a storage facility but I think the camera should still turn on even without film loaded in it. Great question. Thanks and be well.

    • @room111photography5
      @room111photography5  3 года назад

      Hello, Pamela. I just saw your comment again and a camera came to mind that will "sort of" not come on until you load film and advance it two frames. It's the Nikon F3, an older SLR film camera from the '80s. It's a great camera. But it's the only camera I have that will behave that way. Strange they made it that way because others have the same experience, so I know it's not an isolated incident.

    Where should i get my 110 film developed and digitized for the best price?

    • @room111photography5
      @room111photography5  3 года назад +1

      If you have just a few rolls as sort of a one-off experience I would suggest sending them to a lab. It's been so long I can't remember them by name but there are three large labs if you are in the US. On the other hand, if you're in this for real and plan on shooting a lot of 110, I recommend getting a Yankee clipper ii tank, chemicals, accessories, and an Epson flatbed scanner and doing your own development and scanning. Be well and best wishes.

    How many photos can be shot with this Film?

    • @room111photography5
      @room111photography5  4 года назад +1

      The 1970s-1990s versions came in 12-exposure cassettes, but the newer versions available today are all pretty much 24 exposures.
