That was the real Thunderbird before they screw it up with those pieces of garbage , that's a beautiful automobile 👍
I like the Bill Elliott style Thunderbirds.
meh, these are slow land yachts
@@BikerJim74a lot of this like those land yachts I happen to be one of them. If you don't like it kick rocks
@@BikerJim74There is a difference between quick and slow. These “land yachts” aren’t quick, but they’ll cruise at 75-80 mph all day like you’re on a cloud traveling in silent comfort.
@@BikerJim74 They're not about speed, it's all about the smooth ride and comfortable interior. Nothing rides like these cars anymore. The seats are like a comfy recliner in your living-room. Now, they make the seats hard and cheap. I spent 12 hour driving a fairly new vehicle as part of my employment and my butt and lower back was killing me. Drove my old 1985 Crown Victoria for 18 hours and I felt great. These old cars were wonderful on our roads today. The new ones today, you feel every single bump and jars your spine.
Work of art. When cars still had class
My parents had one of these in the mid 80s. Dad loved that car. We lost him 11 years ago to cancer. I would love to buy this! Dad used to take me out every Saturday morning in his T-Bird for breakfast then we would wash it and just cruise around. This takes me back! My favorite test drive video yet! And I've watched a ton of your videos over the years. Thanks for this Nick!
very nice comment
How nice You treassure the memories.
As a Brit with relatives in the the States I remember being so impressed with these land yachts. So iconically American. Not another country was making cars like this back then. No country had the roads for them! Glad that they’re is starting to be a little following for them now.
Lincoln and Cadillac none more comfortable.
That's an impressive car. As you say, well maintained and kept in a garage. Someone could get the A/C fixed and have a super nice car!
I agree with you brother on your comment and I can not say that any better. For you are right on.

We had a ‘76 T -Bird in the family. She was Royal Blue. Smooth as silk going down the road. Just a lovely car in much simpler times.
I definitely remember this car. My Dad had a silver one back in the late seventies!
Can't beat the smooth ride of any 70s land barge. I miss mine.
All these 70s boats are amazing to drive, nothing was ever better. But you will need to maintain them! Regularly. And repair from time to time. My friend's dad had a Buick Electra, 77. Man that thing was a serious couch! But it didnhave its problems like all the 70s cars. Cars today can't measure up to this. This car and others from this era are simply the best possible ride you can get. Super quiet, super comfortable. Love it!
That's probably one of the best cars on your lot.
I fell in love with the style of these Thunderbird's when they came out. I had a good friend who bought a brand new one. They were and still are a very classy car. This looks to be a beautiful example of one.
Nick, I believe the mileage is accurate. The exhaust system is the telltale sign. I saw the Ford Oval on the muffler. This is a classic example of an estate car. I really like it!
The condition of the pedals and steering wheel plus the lack of any blue exhaust tells me the mileage is likely accurate.
That is a sweet car. I love the big cars from the 70’s.
I used to drive one of these, what a beautiful ride it was. Just seemed to float down the road.
Beautiful T-Bird and well taken cared of. They sure don’t build them like that no more
These colorful interiors are what modern cars are missing.
I remembered, I worked at a Ford dealership. When I drove these from dealership to dealership
Now that's a beautiful ride, I remember our church parking lot full of these cars and Cadillacs 👍 this should sell quick
Why am I so obsessed with the 70's green? I would almost buy anything from that era if it was that color combo...lol. I am also obsessed with big floaty boat type cars as well...
That's a super nice car it's clean as heck inside and out and the under carriage is nice and clean this car won't last
Unbelievable that there's no rust under that vinyl top! We called them metal rotters at the dealership! Beautiful green paint.
Now that's a ride.
At that price on that T-bird, wyattoneable is right on and I said he was. LOVE IT !
I had a 1975 Ford Thunderbird back in 1980 and 1981 I was 15 - 16 years old
Had the same motor in
it mine had cb built in the am fm radio with right track
My seats were leather
Had reclining passenger seat
My girlfriend and I enjoyed that 😂😂
Mine mine was brown with brown vinyl roof same set up
Only 202 hp from a 460....man those emission standards were brutal lol.
Yea but in 72 same engine was making 365 hp and 485 lb. -ft. of torque and that was still bone stock so with a a little work this could be a beast
In 72 that engine did not make 365 it was more like 2:20 lower the compression after 71
Also in 72 Ford changed her horsepower ratings to net not gross
@@Vladpryde horsepower ratings drop significantly when Ford went from gross to net horsepower
Wow a CB radio and I see an in dash am/fm stereo with eight track tape player. Classic.
If I was closer, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. :)
Nice someone loved ❤ this car 🚗 to still look this nice 👍I loved the 1970,s great times back then love this car 🚗
🍀Absolutely 😎✌️
This was my second car. Bought it in 1985. Absolutely loved it. After 2 weeks an 18 wheeler made a right turn from the left lane and destroyed it.
Really nice ride. We had one when I was a kid.
Cool 😎 . Now that’s a cool cruiser !
I got my license on a 76 THUNDERBIRD Creme & Gold edition
& I have a strong thinking , I'm the reason for the opera windows from 73- 76.
This is a really beautiful car for it's 47 years. You're sitting in the lap of luxury in this baby!.John Guinto
Got 1 new when i was 16 new , kept it till 1981 & only changed a water pump 100k mile's super nice car
That is one heck of a ride. Beautiful. Wish I had the money.
👍👍👍😎😎😎
NICE car. NICE color and trim.
My first car was a 77 thunderbird. My wife called it my pimp mobile......lol for a big car it was fast Wish I could have kept her but that was 40yrs ago
First car 74 Mercury with a 400 it would smoke those tires 🍀got R done😎✌️
That's one bad Bird!! Absolutely LOVE that triple green!! HELL YEAH!!!
Oh wow, great looking Bird for a reasonable price!!!
Very nice. That motor is smooth. The under side camera picks up odd motor sounds. This is one nice car. Daily driver or weekend exploring Good job!
Beautiful time capsule 👍
clean car back when a luxury was a luxury car big and floats down the road very nice car .
I had a 1974 Thunderbird
Back in 1981 to 1982
I was 16 - 17 year's old
Same set up as this
But mine was brown with a brown vinyl roof
Wish I could afford it
I'd buy it
But my SSDI wouldn't lete afford it right now
awesome car
A tv show in the 70's about a private investigator had this car.
Once you get used to the length of the hood, it's like commanding a battleship. Lots of roll, but goes where you point it. And the hood ornament is your aiming reticle.
Land yacht we always called him back in the day.
Nick rotate the tires that will take care of the pull I'm in the tire business it's simple
What a car! Someone loved on that car, and that emerald green Everywhere really takes you back👍🏻
Thank you
Super clean, even underside.
Beautiful car ❤❤
Beautiful car. A real Thunderbird!
Somebody's Grand Pop took care of this car. Easy dual exhaust conversion should wake up some power.
Nice right side leaner.
Beautiful! Love it!
I owned a 73 Thunderchicken. Comfortable and powerful.
My pops had a red one with white interior, super bad. That green paint is clean.
Wow what a gorgeous car
🍀Gangster grandma car 😎✌️
Why didn't he shut the door so that buzzing would stop I would like to observe what he was doing but I couldn't focus on it because of that buzzing that guy had any sense he'd shut the blame door, looks like a real nice car I'd love to have it if I had the money I'd go up there and buy it
Is look better with green air cleaner and valve cover. All will match.
Clean as a hounds tooth. Nice Nick
That's $2000 more than when it was new, I was looking at em in 77
Big price difference between a 76 Thunderbird in 1977 77 much cheaper
Oh man, I wish I was closer and had the cash, I want one of those so bad.
Classic.
I almost bought a ‘76 T-Bird …Black with a 351 … at the time they were asking 5100.00 … that’s not a bad asking price
My neighbor had one of those wh n I was a kid, silver. That 460 was smog choked and under powered, but it was a cruiser. This one's beautiful.
74 through 76 where all the 460 engine 429 was discontinued 1973
Does a sail come with that beautiful boat? That's a looker and great ride!! I had a 77 LTD wagon and loved that car!❤
It comes with a little life pinto attached to the side, in case you need to abandon ship.
❤BEAUTIFUL CAR❤
That us such a cool car. I remember my dad having one. Rides like a cloud
True survivor car, great price
Wow, that is an awesome car, sorry it's green on green, but otherwise great.
yep, I grew up wit these as a kid, my GF at 18 had this exact car but it was the maroon red. That carpet's gotta go, I can live with the rest.
beautiful car 👍👍
ALWAYS BOUGHT PONY/MUSCLE CARS BUT ALLWAYS LOVED THE MILE LONG T-BIRD, LINCLON AND TORONADOS.
Super sweet.
3rd place!
And thats a nice looking car!
...love that green interior.
Seriously nice 😊
What a beautiful car! Man, I wish! 😄👍🏻
The underbody is very clean and solid and maybe a coolant drip
Keep that beauty down south !
Very nice condition but would be very expensive to drive today. That 460 needs to be fed premium fuel.
I doubt that anybody would use it as a daily driver.
Nice honest cruise ship
Just love this one Nick wow perfect beautiful looking car thanks Nick
73 was the last year for the standard engine the 429
That is a beautiful car. I wish I could. Nick, I was an alignment mechanic for several years and left or right pull in the front end can usualy be solved by crossing the front two tires.
You don't run tires "backwards"! No left side on right side. Duh...
Perhaps you speak of direstional? A symetrical is the common design for modern passenger tires. so be fore coming at me like a spider monkey, do you homework@@danielscott6787
That car is the Jade luxury group
76 was the last for the full-size luxury Thunderbird after that they were mid-sized and quite a bit cheaper
Nice car, something I could drive being older and people wouldn’t think I’m having midlife crisis lol
Where is Huggybear from Starkey and Hutch? Looks like his ride
Lol
Owned a '75 Triple Copper Luxury Group. On a good day it got 9 mpg with the 460 V8. Gorgeous car but by the time it was 3 years old it disintegrated from Michigan winters laden with salt.
Awesome time capsule 💚
For that price.... don't care about the fuel mileage 😊
What a beauty 💕!!!😮
Thanks
Wow now that's a awesome T Bird. Love the Green
I hope that it goes too a good home 😊
Gorgeous car, but that interior.... WHEW! Did they just not have beige back in the 70s or what?
Man that thing is almost mint!! Throw some torque thrust rims snd duell exhsust i woukd pomp that machine anywhere! 🤘
Looking good it's a battle 🚢 ship. Big 10.
Well kept bird.❤😂
