I weighed 190 pounds, was depressed and had no self confidence
I sucked my stomach in whenever I walked by people and wished things would be different
March 20th was the first time I started working out and focusing on my diet and this was the first song I listened to when I started
It is now October 9th
I weigh 147 pounds, finally have gained some self confidence, and have finally gotten myself into shape and gotten myself in the habit of working out 5 times a week and watching what I eat
Listening to this song again feels surreal
So much has changed from the first time I heard this song to now

Finally benched 225LB for the first time and this is absolutely the happiest I have felt about my progress in a while

First needed to find out my maintenance calories and to be consistent and not to exceed it
(You can find out online by simply searching calorie calculator and putting in the required info)
Second
Instead of completely cutting out foods I enjoyed before, I found healthier ways to prepare those foods
(Example - instead of removing burgers from my diet, I would cook using 90% lean ground beef, fat free cheese, and low carb bread)
Finally
I made sure to stay consistent with a workout routine that helped me train with high intensity, while also not feeling too overwhelming
Doing cardio like a simple jog will also help
And made sure to eat enough protein throughout the day, to help maintain muscle and to help feel full throughout the day
It doesn’t matter what times you eat
Just focus on eating within your maintenance calories and staying consistent
If you ever do exceed your maintenance calories, don’t beat yourself up about it
You would have to exceed your maintenance calories by 3500 calories within a week in order to gain 1 pound
So don’t stress too much about it and focus on staying as consistent as you can
If you need help tracking calories
I recommend using an app called MyFitnessPal

Unfortunately that will never happen. I will never experience what many people consider an everyday life. Instead, I remain trapped in this small closet-sized box watching other people live their lives through a screen. Nobody knows I exist, and nobody will ever remember me, not even the world itself.
I spend days walking a few feet back and forth from my bed to sleep and my desk to work, staying awake for days at a time and looking up at the ceiling at night wondering what i could have done to make things turn out differently, or how i could change the future. No matter how long i think on it while imagining staring at the distant stars which are now shrouded by light and air pollution, everything i can possibly do gets shot down. no opportunity. no resources. no time. no guidance. always _something_ blocking me from what i need to do, dangling it in front of me, just out of reach. I could go on for hours about it. Months and years go by unnoticed. Nothing changes, ever. I was doomed from the start, I just never wanted to see it as it is.
Not that I don't want to do anything... I just never had a choice. I committed the sin of existing at the wrong time, in the wrong place, wrong genes and wrong face.
Trapped forevermore.
