In our first reading of today from Micah 2:1-5, we see a stern warning against those who plot and carry out evil. The prophet Micah condemns those who lie awake at night, devising plans to seize others' property and wealth, exploiting their power and authority for selfish gain. God promises that these injustices will not go unpunished.
