Gakpo and Elliot provide a certain reliability and pattern of play, with good decision making. Salah, Nunez and Dias bring more chances, but they’re very chaotic
Nunez came on, got caught offside twice and overall did nothing, Jota has to start every game now with Gakpo on the LW
Yeah, Nunez is easily top in the league for number of offsides, and the fact that Klopp and Pep's coaching doesn't seem to be ironing that out is a major concern.
This is the line up we must start from now on, salah and Nunez in the second half, gapko and Jota must start, finally Diogo scored. Hope we can beat Everton on Wednesday.
Klopp may for next game too, though Salah will start again, save him for West Ham.
Everton is usually a physical tight game away at Goodison
A win was badly needed and LFC delivered. God bless Liverpool and Jorgen Klopp.
Spot on comments. If ever a team has refused to give up having been behind it's our lads. ever expected to be in the middle of a title race this season but we are and we have the quality to win it. We could easily have lost having gone 1-1 by dropping our heads but we roared back. The lads have struggled a bit the last few weeks but was it that much of a surprise with soo many coming back and looking for sharpness and a few looking tired having covered them? But the character has come back and lets be positive and go for the line. We have plenty of lads that are just getting match fitness while unsurprisingly Arsenal and City are looking a bit leggy having played a lot of the same lads all season. Maybe one of them will win it, they are both fine teams but so are we and everyone can feel pressure. Arsenal did last week and City did in 2022 when they gave up an 8 point lead to see us be able to take it to the last day and again, on that day, they needed 3 goals in the last 15 mins to stop us. We are much closer now. We just have to keep being positive, give it everything and hopefully we will get over the line! Come on you Red Men!
So glad to see us score a couple of goals from open play! Trent the talisman with an incredible free kick too, reminding us of what we were missing in his absence! I know it’s unlikely at this point but I’m hoping this season and era under klopp can have the fairytale finish it deserves(though I know it’s unlikely)
BOSS THAT LA!
Trent great representation of Liverpool FC, top nice guy, even better football!
Best right foot in the world
I get the feeling he's loving himself, was so satisfied with his own work on the free kick, that it's not going to end well.
I'd take a big offer for him from Madrid atm given the progress of Bradley.
You’re not a Liverpool fan
Diaz, Gakpo and Jota done nothing wrong. Ran themselves into the ground and deserve a start against Everton
With our current form I would play Salah second half always. Keep Gomez and Konate on the bench till further notice
This was such a vital Win, C'mon on you Mighty Reds
FIVE games remaining, no other distractions. Let’s GET IT!!!
We needed that and so did I!
Thanks for the content
All the players have at one time shown that they are decent players, there isn't a genuine dud amongst the signings. We forget that a lot of the players are just kids, early 20s and their best years are ahead of them.
We still in it 😁
Where did the Reds energy come from ? Looked shattered during the previous 3 games .
Gravenberch shouldve been used long before yesterday klopp had him on bench too many games and didn't use him.
Threw away control of the title race again though.
Paul, I've had my heart broken twice so I have no expectation that City will drop points. In all honesty, and sorry to be a downer on all this, I'm kinda sick of football in general. It's simply not a level playing field and we know why. I am of the opinion that the FA/Prem will only do something about the 115 charges if the value of the premier league *product* drops and this will only happen if people stop watching/paying... I think you know where I'm going with this... I will always support LFC above all other teams (club and country) but what I'm saying is I've had enough of football in general. At least that's how I feel at present. Having said that a good friend has invited me to the Spurs vs City game 🤔
Good goal by Ryan but honestly he's not a starter for me ❤❤
That Spurs game still haunts
Dropping pts to united twice losing to palace drawing Luton haunts them
If Liverpool get 89pts, there’s 25% chance they’ll be champions imo
It was a good game. But I think it might be too late.
Elliot was garbage today. Offering nothing but back passes atm. Thinking more and more he was an early bloomer that won't go on.
Let's be honest Szobo doesn't deserve a place at the minute
Where are all the Gakpo and Gravenberch scapegoaters with their nonsense takes?
