Thanks for watching as always LONGSHANKS! It was a nostalgic fun one to put together, I ended up getting some extra motivation after reading AC #1K yesterday.

Hmm thanks for the Berne man of steel background. That makes total sense now for bendis coming in and taking on another vol of man of steel. History repeats itself.

Thank you for watching as always TC! Yes, history seems to repeat once again as DC ushers in another era for Supes w/ a MoS mini. I actually enjoyed Bendis’ story in AC 1K, I hope we’ll be getting the Bendis that got me hooked on Daredevil than the one who chased me off the Avengers & Guardians.

I'm at work right now so I'm unable to watch the video, but I'm looking forward to watching it when I'm done! And I'm sure there's some great stuff in here, Superman for the win!

Cool man, I hope your work day is swift & that this vid was worth the wait!

TheKMN1971 Was finally able to take some time out of my busy day to watch the video, there's some great stuff here! I'd have to agree with you, finding Superman keys is quite challenging due to there not being that many (that are affordable, at least), but whatever. Will definitely check out that Johns run of Action Comics. Again, great video as always!
And thanks for the shoutout btw! I plan on eventually starting up a new channel (this one was from middle/high school and used for video games) to show off my collection and hauls, but it could be quite a while before that happens.

I have every Superman comic book from 1992 The first appearance of Doomsday and his battle and death with Superman all the way up to late 2007. 15 years of complete set of all Superman title comic books week to week with countless story lines to go along with that including such as Clark and Lois's Wedding. Too, I will add Clark Kent revealing to Lois Lane that he is Superman. What do you think ? Any buyers ? I want to get rid of them. They are all in awesome and wonderful shape and condition.

Thanks for watching Mark! No, I don't have either of the books that you mentioned, my Superman collection is made up primarily of floppies & a couple of treasury editors.

Man... makes me want to do my own spotlight of Superman as I have half these comics. Not as deep as your but still respectable. Agree Superman doesn’t have many key so if your collecting him it’s strictly for the love of the character! Great vid 👍🏻

Thank you for watching bud, I really appreciate that there are still some Superman fans despite all the cynicism everywhere. If you ever do a Superman spotlight, I’d definitely be watching that stuff for sure bud!

Great Superman review sir! Really like your selection of issues. I even saw a few I didn't know about in the newer stuff that I will try out. (I pretty much gave up on new comics in the last 15 years or so, I mostly buy vintage now). I like your tastes in comics, so I subscribed

After listening to your comments about the Johns/Frank ACTION COMICS run about the Legion, 858 to 863, I bought a complete set on Ebay and I must thank you for suggesting one of the best LoSH story ever! What a great read! Loved Franks visuals on the costumes and the story was certainly the best Legion story in the last 20 years! I am now ordering the Superman origins mini-series (by the same team) you also talked about in your video.

I’m glad you liked the story arc Rangersly! Hopefully the next time the Legion gets a push, it’s done with A - list talent like this! I hope you enjoy Secret Origin!

Thanks for watching Brian! I'm pretty content w/ my Superman PC at the moment, plus I do own a bunch of stuff from the era that you mentioned, . Good luck to you finding them a good home though bud!

Wow! What journey through memory lane. Is the Geoff Johns/Gary Frank run really that good?

    • @TheKMN1971
      @TheKMN1971  6 лет назад +1

Thank you for watching as always CBN! Imo, the Johns/Frank run is tops in my book! I actually really dig/recommend the whole run that Johns did on the title which featured some great art from the likes of Kubert, Powell & Merino but the run went to another level when Gary Frank jumped on board. Good times!

Very cool look into superman books, these kinda videos are great keep them coming , do Batman next :) Superman Keys few and far between, I don’t have a tone of books, love superman adventures the animated series, Superman vs Muhammad Ali is a book that’s on my want list

Thank you for watching as always Thim! I hear you about the lack of Superman keys. I’d say 95% of my Superman comics in the PC would average in value in the 1-4$ range lol! I’m definitely a huge Batman geek & have somewhat been putting out an annual Batcentric CBCS on Batman Day weekend. If you’d like to check out some of my Batman stuff in the meantime, please feel free to watch my very first CBCS #1 & CBCS #17 which showcase pretty much all of my Bat keys from my PC @ the time.
