Hi, Tom! Great video. I always enjoy your productions. You bring a positive atmosphere and lots of enjoyment. You're a great inspiration. Take care until next time ! 👍
I just watched a program talking about how much the body improves from being in the woods with all the trees and fresh air. I spent a lot of time in the woods as a kid. Even help build and worked at a sawmill during my college days. I love working outside when possible.
Interesting piece on "9"...Good to know... Thanks for sharing your adventure and meal! That is something I have made b 4 ..n added a touch of garlic,n , onion, sautéed with Caribou bacon...mmmmm! C Ya on the trail next time!
Superb video Tom! Yes, I too am looking for Spring. Your attention to detail, exceptionally clear film quality, and great sound quality make such a pleasant viewing experience…I greatly appreciate the extra effort you invest in creating such awesome content to share your passion for your beloved ancestry. New fire/cooking set up is really cool. Have really enjoyed todays visit, thank you for sharing about importance of 9, sharing about the product development, sharing about Cornelius, and the news of a new job. I wish you prosperity and happiness. Promise…will ALWAYS be a faithful supportive subscriber (friend).
Yeah I know that Greg 😁👍🏻and that makes me feel very grateful and happy to having you around 🤗 Happy weekend too you and your family from Denmark 🇩🇰🐕 Tom
Hello Tom, you inspire as always, great material, you make flavors for the evening, which you added to the bacon and mushrooms, perhaps milk or cream. greetings
Tom just continues to get better all the time. He’s not only a wonderful storyteller and bushcrafter but he an accomplished filmmaker and film editor too. When I can’t actually be outdoors myself, I go with Tom and enjoy the outdoors while he makes all the meals and gathers all the resources. 😂 I love this guy’s content. Far and away my favorite in You Tube. Cheers Tom on your amazing kit, filming and adventures! Always a pleasure!
Thanks a lot my friend for your wonderful and kind words 🤗 it warms my heart and makes me feel happy 😃 Appreciate every time you come along and join me on my little adventures 🏕🔥🐕 Tom
Well Tom it was another great video. I knew a little bit about Norse mythology but had no idea of some details. It was an honor to come along on this adventure with you and a listen to you share your knowledge on the subject
Good day my friend my wife watch your videos and she has told me she wants to get back to nature and go out for camping this year, I think its because you have made her remember how comforting it is being out with mother nature. Thank you my friend for all your respect for mother earth and all she gives to us. God Bless you my friend and your family too. Not forgetting your new little companion either, can't wait to see him on your adventures.
Thank you so much John for your feedback 🤗 and for joining me again. Give my regards to your wife and tell her I’m grateful that she’s also following me on my little adventures 🐕🏕🔥🌲Tom
Tom👍👍 Wonderful trip to the woods, so glad the weather turned better for you. Looked like a peaceful, relaxing time alone with nature. Awesome news about the firebowl, congratulations. I think I counted 9 pieces of wood when you got the fire going good, and a very interesting story about the number 9 in Norse mythology, thanks. Bread made with beer is common here in the US, good stuff. The new cook pan/skillet worked like a champ, that meal looked amazing and there was enough to feed some forest animals too. Meade, beer, Cimbrer coffee with a wink😉, a signature day in the bush. Great video, well done. Take care, good health and enjoy the new job. See you in the next one.
Hello Tom! I really enjoyed your tale about the number 9 , and its relevance in viking culture. Being from a country so distant from yours, I'm always excited to know more about your traditions, thanks! Best regards from Argentina
Hello Tom. Congratulations on your fire bowl and your full time job. Don't worry, if it takes you a little longer to make a video, we'll still be here. Thanks for another video. Stay safe. See you later buddy.
Thanks a lot Elmer for your kind and supporting words 🤗 I’m so glad for my new adventure regarding the firebowl and new job 😁 and hope everything will work out great 😉👍🏻🏕🔥🌲🐕Tom
THANK YOU Tom Dear friend - Congratulations for your new work and for your collaboration with Kynn to make your fier bowl - I enjoyed this video very much - MAY you and your family have abeautifull weekend waiting for your next 🌲
Tom, I ove the new pup, and I'm happy to hear of your new partnership with the German gentlemen for making the new equipment - the fire bowl. All the best in the new job.
Thor was sending you a little blessing for your meal! 🌧 And thank you for the information about the magic number, i know these stories but never made that connection. Skål 🍻
Tom, it is always a pleasure to see your videos! I hope you are enjoying your new job and wish you much success. Stay healthy and say hello to Cornelius for us! Bye for now and Skål!
Fascinating piece of Norsk history/folklore. Many thanks for that - and I'll be watching your fire bowl project with interest. Good luck with your new job. Hoping to see you again soon.
A beautiful day (even with the rain) in Denmark. Your new fire bowl and curved hanging cook bowl work well together. Good luck with your product project. Glad you had a Raven visit you in the woods today and I look forward to you having your puppy with you in the woods soon.
Hi Tom! Nice to see you in a new video enjoying the forest and with so good news about your gear. Your new pan works very well as I can see. It is very interesting your information about number 9, something that I did knew about. Cornellius is even a puppy and he plays with all as a toy. He will very soon running around you in the woods. Nice. A pleasure to send you a very warm hug my friend and wish you the best. Greetings from Madrid my friend.
And a big hug 🤗 too you Miguel and thanks for joining me again. I’m looking very much forward too taking my little Cornelius with me on my adventures and glad you do too. Stay safe my friend and enjoy your early springtime down in Madrid 😉🌤🏕Tom
Hey! Been following you for a couple months, love your traditional Viking gear! Just curious how much does your full load out generally weigh? I have been accumulating some traditional gear (more frontiersman than Viking) but I love all the styles, I think my load out is a bit too heavy for longer hikes at 50 pounds, our wilderness is very dense and we have lots of slopes to hike up and down…it’s very tiring and I’m looking to minimize what I have by 10 lbs or so for more food and the ability to stay out for longer durations.
Thanks for your feedback Christopher 😉 and question My backpack frame weighs about 14-16 kg depending on what I bring along. But I don’t have enough so I can make a longer trip for more than one day. But my pack frame is surprisingly comfortable too have one my back and I could easily carry it on a longer trip See you again soon 🏕🔥🌲 Tom
Same question i wanted to ask. 50 pounds is too heavy man. Where i live theres nothing but a hill. And carrying weights is a big pain. A man in a good shape should carry no more than 10% of his body weight, 7% is ideal. Being in good shape is the most important thing. And Tom my friend, great video as always. Stay safe.
@@emirbjelak4482 yes, it is all hills around where I live as well. I don’t think 30 LBS is too much, 50, yes. I also carry a little more gear because I camp with my woman and our dogs. 10% of my body weight is only 18 LBS and I could carry that literally forever, it’s like nothing but then I wouldn’t have any gear either as I like traditional gear and some comforts. Also considering food and water is two of the heaviest things to carry.
@@christopherdenison8488 Well, 18 pounds is a lot of gear. How many times you bring something and never used it? Its a matter of choices and compromises. Cant bring everything. I carry only the basic 10c's of survival. And dogs can carry their own food. Trust me, less i carry more happy i am. Its kinda more fun. All the best man
Tom, glad to hear all of your new news for you and your channel. I hope your new job goes well for you in the future along with making your videos. You won't have time for a nap anymore 😁. Thank you for your work putting your videos together and information you share as well. I'll be looking for your next video. Take care.🇺🇲🔪🔥🌲
Always has good video quality. Love all the home made gear you have. Fire platform, cook wok. Wink for coffee! Keep up the good work. Good luck on your employment. Puppies do have a learning curve. I seen how much you love him. Looking forward to your next video!
Congratulations on the new job! It's also great to hear you're enjoying your new furry companion. I'm looking forward to seeing Cornelius in upcoming videos. All the best to you, Tom.
Congratulations on your new job Tom!! I also noticed that you have close to 85,000 subs . I hope you get to 90, 000 soon being 9 is your lucky number. I will miss going on these amazing adventures with you every week but I totally understand. I will definitely see you when you can . I am a member of Kickstarter so I will be looking forward to supporting your project ! I can definitely tell you are a photographer. Your videos are always outstanding 👏 ! I'm looking forward to see your puppy when he is ready to take adventures with you ! Take care and stay safe my friend Troy
Thank you so much Troy for your wonderful feedback 🤗 I’m so excited for the kickstarter project and grateful if you’ll be one of them who are joining us 😉 Thanks again for all your kindness and loving support It means a lot to me. Stay safe my friend and enjoy life See you again soon 🏕🔥🌲 Tom
Congratulations on your new job Tom! Thank you for another great video too. We look forward to each update and another journey. Best regards to you from Wisconsin in the US.
Hello my friend (if you allow me to call you that!), when I watch your videos it really makes me want to put my backpack on my back and transport myself there lol, I can smell your food lol. Thank you for giving us so much peace of mind and knowledge. Big hug.
Of course Marcelo 😉 I’m glad that your one of my far away friends and appreciate your kindness and support very much. Thanks for following me on my adventures here in Denmark See you again soon 🏕👍🏻🌲 Tom
Thank you for the lesson on sacred number 9. Congratulations on your venture with your new camping bowl/wok and also your new job.🤗 I can’t wait for spring either, it’s 70degrees here in Tennessee USA Today. Tomorrow, the high will be 38degrees🐝❤️🤗
We call the flour: 'whole meal', it is coarsely ground. There is more bran/fiber in each cake or loaf. It is favored in the UK for 'Irish Soda Bread.' I use it in the United States with great satisfaction!
Thanks James for bringing me that info 😉👍🏻 I normally love bread that’s made with that flour … but it wasn’t good in my flat bread 🫓🤔 Atb to you brother 🏕🔥🌲 Tom
Tom I think you need an entire set of cookware. im excited for your bowl! i gravitate towards traditional ways and use them often myself. I think our scandanavian blood has made us this way. we hiked 3 miles through deep snow and over frozen ice today, we spoke of your bowl and videos... i love the norse mythology. i have germanic and norse blood mostly and enjoy the traditions. i have a deep love for our past, the water, the land, the fish, and teaching my young boys the way we've lived hundreds of years. i wish the best for you and your family! and beer...skol!!
That’s wonderful to hear my friend 😊 and I’m grateful that you are following me on my Viking journey and that you are with me in spirit too See you again soon 🏕🔥🌲 Tom
Tom.. Again well done. My world stops to watch your videos. I enjoyed your explanation of the mythology of " Magic Number 9". It answered a question I was going to ask you about the Valknut symbol on your wooden cutting board. Congratulations on the pursuit of your fire bowl, can't wait to see the end results. Also best of luck on your new job. In closing, I understand your situation with Cornelius, our new pup turned 6 months a few days ago. Looking forward to see him on your future adventures when he's older.
Appreciate that very much Claude 🤗🐕 and happy too see you again on my hike 👍🏻 I’m so grateful that your enjoying my videos and always enjoy reading your kind comments 😉🏕🔥🌲 Tom
Hi Tom! I'm glad for meeting you. Good vidoe, gear, your little tarp. Intersting about magic number 9. I really miss little Corneliuos. Shell see you. Thanks for all.

Hi Tom, fantastic news on your fire bowl it's a winner. Autumn is my favourite season because of the colourful leaves. Rain in the forest refreshing to the soul. Till next time my friend take care and to our little friend. 🥃 🥃 😉
Hej Tom, great video again. Very interesting story about no 9! Didn't know untill now! Congrats with your New job and hope to see more of your Viking stories ( also with Cornelius). Good luck and stay healthy! 💪🏻👍🏼

Thank you so much Patrick 😁 I’m glad you enjoyed my new video and give my regards to your wife and say I’m grateful that she’s watching my videos as well Hope you’ll both join me again soon 🤗🏕🔥🌲Tom
Enjoyable video. Congratulations on your collaboration for producing the fire bowl. I'm interested in the fire bowls your hanging three corner "pan" and the apparatus to hang the pan over the fire. All perfect size for me with my little mini adventures to help me not lose my mind. Thank you for bringing some peace into this world.
Hi Tom , I wear the Yalknut always , I never go anywhere without it , All puppys are Little terrors , I remember my last puppy was really bad ,a Border Collie , very Intelligent Dogs , he was always up to something ! , Be Well my Friend , Strength ,Honour and Respect !.
Great video Tom. The Viking history of 9 is really interesting. Thanks for sharing. Congratulations on the new job. Anxious to see the bowl project work out. Your content and photography is really taken off. ATB.
That’s great my friend and happy puffing to you as well 😊👍🏻 It’s great that your following me on my adventures and appreciate your feedback very much 🏕 Tom
As a pipe smoker of 42 years, I can certainly relate to the disappointment of a broken pipe, Tom! It's happened to me several times over the years, especially on hikes, but usually there's a bit of duct tape on some my gear that I can wrap around the pipe for the day! We southern Alabama USA guys use duct tape for everything...it's a bit of a running joke in our culture! 😄I thoroughly enjoy your videos...there's no place like a peaceful outdoor setting, and I head for the woods every sunny day since I retired...nature is where all the truth is always intact, especially in today's chaotic times! 🌲🍀🍄🌄🏕
That’s so true my friend 🤗 and we can only hope that this madness will end soon Thanks for your feedback and for joining me again 🏕 See you again soon 🔥🌲🐕 Tom
Awesome video again my friend...congratulations on your new job and new puppy! Looking forward to seeing next video soon! And congratulations on your new venture with the cooking pot and firebowl it's an awesome idea...a contained fire easy to pack in and leaves no trace when you go...I might have to order one 😀
Amazing my friend! I love norse mythology and I think it’s the best ever! Odin, the all father and the other gods are watching us when we are in the nature. I think they are in the earth, within the trees, within the woods, on the mountains…. They always surround us. Skål my friends 🍻
Tom, my Viking friend, I always adore your videos and the Viking Mythology is very enlightening to me. I appreciate your hard work and your videos production is very satisfying and really compliment your personality. I look forward to the production of your fire bowl and express to you much sucess in this effort. I would like, very much to purchase one in your honor and support. Cornelius is a sweetheart and hope he is doing well! Keep up the good work and keep us all in your thoughts as you make the best videos on RUclips!!!
Thank you so much Paul for your kind and supporting words 🤗 That means a lot to me my friend and I’m grateful that your a part of my community and always glad when you join me on my little adventures 😁👍🏻🏕🔥🌲🐕 Tom
Tom, I always feel like I am in the woods with you! Sorry to see about Martin's pipe. May I ask your age? You mentioned your Dad was born in 1919. My Gramp was born in 1918! My Dad in 1940 and me in 1961. (We are both lucky - your Dad and my Gramp lived thru the 1918 Spanish Flu!) Glad for your job! We will miss you, but look forward to your return. God bless little Cornelius! It is a puppy thing to figure out what you like, and then run off with it! 😆 It shows you how much he pays attention to you!
Ha ha that’s right 😉 and even though it’s stressful I love the energy my little Cornelius is showing. I’m born in 1959 😉 so I’m 62 years old … I’m glad you enjoyed my video and happy to see you again 🏕🔥🌲🐕 Tom
Great video - i just kicked back and enjoyed-thanks Tom -Also Really liked the video of the 9 different worlds' answered a lot of questions I had about the different worlds ! ! !
Congratulations on the new job Tom and the plans for a kickstarter. Ahhh, unfortunately we have to work my friend. As we say in my part of the world, "you can't live on fresh air!" We will still be looking forward to the new videos whenever they arrive. Good video as always Tom. Best of luck.
Thank you so much Paul for your supporting words 🤗 That’s right we can’t live on air 😆 but hope some day I get enough viewers so I can live from the money I get from my RUclips channel 😉 Atb to you buddy 🏕🔥🌲🐕 Tom
Thanks for the interesting lesson Tom! I’ve heard that the number 9 was sacred before, but now I have a better understanding why! Your camp looked cozy and food looked delicious! I’m excited about your collaboration on the fire place! Best wishes!
Good to hear that you have found a company that is willing to produce your fire bowl . I am sure it will be a success because it is a handy system and takes up little space . And if your videos come a little later than i have somthing to look forward to. But still a fun video. And greetings from the Netherlands 👌🏼👍🇳🇱🇩🇰😉
Great video again Tom. Thanks for the information on the subject nr.9 . The bowl is yet again a great invention and I see a lot of buyers in the near future good luck for you 🍳🥘🫕🐕

We call the flour: 'whole meal', it is coarsely ground. There is more bran/fiber in each cake or loaf. It is favored in the UK for 'Irish Soda Bread.' I use it in the United States with great satisfaction!
Thanks James for bringing me that info 😉👍🏻 I normally love bread that’s made with that flour … but it wasn’t good in my flat bread 🫓🤔
Atb to you brother 🏕🔥🌲
Tom
Tom I think you need an entire set of cookware. im excited for your bowl! i gravitate towards traditional ways and use them often myself. I think our scandanavian blood has made us this way. we hiked 3 miles through deep snow and over frozen ice today, we spoke of your bowl and videos... i love the norse mythology. i have germanic and norse blood mostly and enjoy the traditions. i have a deep love for our past, the water, the land, the fish, and teaching my young boys the way we've lived hundreds of years. i wish the best for you and your family! and beer...skol!!
That’s wonderful to hear my friend 😊 and I’m grateful that you are following me on my Viking journey and that you are with me in spirit too
See you again soon 🏕🔥🌲
Tom
Tom.. Again well done. My world stops to watch your videos. I enjoyed your explanation of the mythology of " Magic Number 9". It answered a question I was going to ask you about the Valknut symbol on your wooden cutting board.

Also best of luck on your new job. In closing, I understand your situation with Cornelius, our new pup turned 6 months a few days ago. Looking forward to see him on your future adventures when he's older.

Thanks Petra 🤗 appreciate that my friend and thanks for joining me again 🏕🔥Tom
Congratulations on the Kickstarter project 👏🏼I bet this was a pleasant surprise .
Yes 👍🏻 😄 absolutely 🤗 and I’m looking very much forward to that. Appreciate your feedback my friend 🏕
Tom
That’s so true my friend 🤗 and we can only hope that this madness will end soon
Thanks for your feedback and for joining me again 🏕
See you again soon 🔥🌲🐕
Tom
Awesome video again my friend...congratulations on your new job and new puppy! Looking forward to seeing next video soon! And congratulations on your new venture with the cooking pot and firebowl it's an awesome idea...a contained fire easy to pack in and leaves no trace when you go...I might have to order one 😀
That would be great my friend 😉👍🏻 and I’m looking forward to getting it into production 💪🏻 Thanks for your feedback and for joining me again 🏕🔥🌲🌤Tom🐕
Amazing my friend!
I love norse mythology and I think it’s the best ever!
Odin, the all father and the other gods are watching us when we are in the nature.
I think they are in the earth, within the trees, within the woods, on the mountains….
They always surround us.
Skål my friends 🍻
Skål 🍻 my friend 😉👍🏻 and I’m sure your right … they are in us and in the nature 🏕🔥

I’m born in 1959 😉 so I’m 62 years old … I’m glad you enjoyed my video and happy to see you again 🏕🔥🌲🐕
