Good Day Trifate Lifestyle! Remember that always be careful and store some foods and other necessities, especially now that we are in the amidst of a super typhoon. I believe that you're safe in your place right now and you're in a high building. Also, if there's an emergency you can call the hotline of Quezon City, just dial 122. God bless everyone! 🙏🇵🇭
THANK YOU for uploading this vlog early! The incoming typhoon is stressing me out knowing how strong it is and severe the destruction it could bring... so THANK YOU for calming me down with this video. I needed this after a whole day of feeling anxious and scared.
My home town!!!! I spent the first 12 years of my life in Makati, born and raised. We lived in San Lorenzo Village and I attended Don Bosco Makati til 1st year high(before the transition to K-12), which I think was equivalent to 8th grade in the US. I had so much amazing memories in this city. My dad and I would sometimes go to Magallanes where there used to be a park there and we'd exercise, then we'd eat at the Pancake House in Magallanes. I'd take the cab from my school to the Enterprise building(you guys passed by it 22:24) and I'd do my homework at the food court on the upper level overlooking the busy intersection, while waiting for my mom to get off work. Then we'd go get pastries and coffee at Figaro café(my fav was Sans Rival) at Greenbelt and baguettes at Deli France in Greenbelt 1. I'd get my school supplies at the National Bookstore in Greenbelt and go get our groceries at Landmark. Then there's this mall, which I think is not there anymore, called "Park Square" and they had a stall there where you can get Japanese pancakes. Then I'd go to the Powerplant mall to meet up with a club where I played Pokemon cards and you can get stamps and challenge gym leaders to get badges. Then my dad would treat me for a banana split afterwards lol I also took piano lessons at Yamaha school of music that used to have a branch in Park Square across a Kenny Rodgers lmao Then seeing celebrities was so common, like seeing Lucy Torres at a bookstore, Mel Tianco at a restaurant, John Lloyd Cruz at a bar, and Lucky Manzano at this barber shop that I used to go to(but it might've been in Ortigas🤔) Then Alessandra de Rossi used to visit my school during school events cause her brother/relative attended my school, and Richard Gomez giving a talk on not to use drugs lol I remember sometimes we'd see Heart Evangelista attending mass at Don Bosco church, and I also saw Sandara Park(when she used to live in the Philippines) at the Timezone in one of the malls. Probably shows how old I am with all these older Pinoy celebs😅 It's crazy how you'd just stumble upon celebrities just going about their day and I never really had the urge to come up to them and take pics cause it felt like a normal thing just seeing them out and about. Man, it's been years and I wanna go visit again 😭 Sorry for the long post, just had all these rush of memories as I was half-watching your video. Hope y'all enjoyed your time in Makati!
So it is pretty much like being in London then. I once saw Dennis Quaid walking around Portobello Road. He was so tall and hunky. In my 20s, I used to work at a store on the M4 and served some local, British celebs. Usually when you see these celebrities, they are much smaller in person. Heard Benedict Cumberbatch was a nice gentleman at the checkout till counter.
@@joc7996 Pretty much! I reckon any countries with primate cities like France, Philippines, UK, etc., where the centre of culture amd economic activity is concentrated in one metro area, many people of the entertainment, political, and business sectors will be residing in or around the primate city. OMG... I missed MAKATI so much. I used to work there for 2 years before coming here in Dubai. I never had my vacation for 5 years and seeing your vlog reminds me of my home. BGC is expensive Makati is very homy for me. I used to hang out and relax at Greenbelt after work. I feel so nostalgic!💫
Seems like there's a distress signal warning for a typhoon. No matter what happens, always stay together, and ensure that not either one of you gets harmed. Anyway, I hope you guys are in a much secured place.
The Poblacion area of Makati is also unique. There's a lot of authentic Korean & Japanese restaurants. Very EPIC! There's a typhoon coming, so stay safe. 👍
You made the right decision to stay in the city during the typhoon season. The eastern islands of the Philippines are severely devastated by the typhoon. The province life and beaches can wait, for now, keep safe in the city, boys! :)
Try strolling around Ortigas center and visit Podium Mall, SM Megamall, Shangrila mall and go to nearby Capitol Common Township & go to Estancia malls. Its a mixture of BGC & Makati
Nice! You went to Pancake House (Ph) finally. I love the "All You Can" promo by pancake house, any of them. That "All You Can" meal by Tyler, that cost only P399 (+service charge), is the biggest bang for the buck in Pancake House. For P399, I had 4 servings of those chicken/nuggets and waffle/carbonara. We go there twice a month and I'm glad they had that exact promo for 2 consecutive months. Take care guys.
I mean... despite of the typhoon hitting our roof right now with no electricity whatsoever...m still watching this video 😆 and it's somehow calmed my nerves down amidst the Chaos of signal number 5 here in my place in the city of Pampanga 😊...thanks Trifate (aka Tyler and Isaac) for the stress relief and the entertainment...I wonder how you are there in quezon city while the experienceing the heavy rain and the strong wind? Well I hope that you're both safe and up for the next video to be released soon...stay well you two! ❤️
I've held office in both BGC and Makati but chose to live in Makati (twenty years ago this month!)i, not far from the places you visited here. I agree with your assessment -- of the two, Makati is the better one to live in. Welcome to my neighborhood!
Remarkable volley of spontaneous dialogue between the two of you. Never run out of dull moments, not a tad. Greenbuilt was used to be where I took my lunch daily because I worked around the area as a corporate trainer before I moved to Bahrain.
Makati is the best place to live in the Philippines wooohoooo. Road to 50 K goal is getting nearer only in the Philippines. Mabuhay and gogogo guys you can do it Achieved 👍👍👍🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭

BGC is definitely more modern because its newer.. but makati has a better cool old and new vibe in my opinion.. 😊 and better to live in.. little trivia for you guys: BGC area is part of Makati city before.. but the area has been tossed to Taguig city hehehe..
Stay safe Tyler and Isaac. In your place (Quezon City) is now under signal number 4, I live in Makati the weather here now is so bad windy and heavy rainfall.
Pancake house is one of my favorite here in manila so many food to choose.thanks for sharing .your travel tour guys .take care always guys youre so funny hahaha.👍✌😍🙏🇵🇭
Hey, I had second thoughts of approaching you guys at Glorietta because I'm a bit socially awkward. But I did run after you. Lol. Cool guys. Very approachable.
Another city is coming at Manila bay , it's on going in land expansions ! I wish I can see it before I die , I want to see the most modern country in Asia , and that is the Philippines ! My home country ! How old the 2 of you ! I have a Japanese son ,who is 21 yrs old !
More like 3 or 4 decades. So they got a good headstart. And also, same developers. Could have been an extension -- probably the new side vs the old side haha. I mentioned the developers bec it's impt to note there were attempts to create new modern cities like Ortigas or Eastwood but they were never able to put it in the same league as BGC. So it's safe to say that Ayala really knows how to make modern cities the right way.
Makati! My second home! I spent my student days from elementary to college in schools in Makati. And now I work in Makati too! I work so near the malls you went to. Too bad I didn't get to see you guys. Take care always Tyler and Isaac!
Woah you've finally met Duck's family! 🦆It would be epic if you've brought him with you. haha! Greenbelt is one of the oldest malls yet remains one of my favorites due to the parks and greenery. Hoping you get to visit Ayala Triangle while you're there, it even has more trees.
You are becoming more and more famous each day in the Philippines! 😃 everywhere you go, there will always be people who know and approach you. Nice! 😊🥰 Stay safe and always be vigilant when you are walking outside. Be mindful of your surroundings as well. Coz I feel nervous when I watch you walking along the streets. 😂🤣 Anyways, enjoy your tour here. 😊

BGC is more modern and the newest city in the Metro. They are both lively and cheap to live to compared to NYC, Chicago, Tokyo. A real value for your money.
Wow! Makati! One of the modern & world class city of the Philippines, enjoy Philippines guys, there so many many beautiful places to visit in Metro Manila Philippines very lively, dynamic, progressive and not boring city.
Just saw you passed by the buildings where I previously worked at - 1st & 2nd job was in Makati. Nostalgic.. There used to be a Christmas light show at Ayala Triangle starting Nov until Christmas, hoping it will return this year.
greenbelt 1-5 and the most fancy is 2 i think which is a small part building on the right.. of when you went left after the toss coin 😂 but i love how you guys walk. i dont usually see vloggers go around this much touring the country. You both hold conversations well too and i dont get bored watching. its really nice.
BGC will always be more modern because it is just more than a decade old while Makati is classic. You wont find old architecture style buildings in BGC which makes Makati more interesting if you are into classical historical stuff but still modern/high-tech.
oops, i have to say, Uptown area is trying to be old-ish/classic with Megaworld designing their buildings with old european style but you still feel it is very new while the old-style buildings in Makati are legit old. 😄
BGC is like "new money" while Makati is giving "old money" vibes. You may also check out Filinvest City in Alabang Muntinlupa City, still developing but it has a mix of new-old money vibes to it.
BGC is just a piece of vast land for military families but series of hoolaboos they sold it to private businessmen and poof! Ayala, Megaworld and all other created the BGC and its not a city but a barangay or something (need to clarify that coz some are mistaken 😂). It appears to be modern looking of course since it got urban planning and lots of space were utilized for this, you can see top view on the plane on how it looks like and its really organized... even jeepneys are not allowed inside the main bgc roads... In Makati, its the main business capital of the Philippines ( i know bgc is trying to get the business capital identity after they departed from makati city and became part of taguig city). Thats also why Makati looks “classy” since it is quite old city but this city is built as a center for business and thats why the major part of Makati is really urbanized including Powerplant Mall area. It also have decent parks and recreational areas and residential areas inside the business district. BGC is a barangay (Barangay Fort Bonifacio) inside Taguig City but its so weird coz BGC is surrounded by barangays of Makati. 😂 I know BGC was part of Makati City a decade ago but the Supreme Court of the Philippines flips a decision in favor of Taguig City and since then has become a barangay in Taguig City. its so interesting.
Wow seeing this Vlog featuring the malls and streets in Makati really brought back so many good memories when i was still living in the area. I was actually living just one block away from Salcedo Park where the Saturday market is. I hope i could visit Makati again soon. Kudo's to you biscuit boys, loving all your vlogs.esp. ur RVs to SB19💕
Makati has a homey and city-life feel. I live in Makati but in an area close to BGC. I used to work and live close to the Makati CBD but now I live closer to BGC. Both cities are modern. BGC is very new so definitely you can see that its cleaner, roads are paved well and the buildings are more on the glassy and the architecture are more modern but it lacks the homey and city vibe and busy workplace feel. Makati on the other hand, you can feel both new and old. Legaspi Village feels a lot older than Salcedo Village because of the building but there are new buildings being build which sits next to old ones. Ayala Ave is definitely the most modern and with the construction of BPI headquarters etc its going to feel more modern in the next couple of years.
If you're still exploring Makati, check out Rada St for street food ( more like food trucks) and Poblacion for night life and more even more diverse food scene.
BGC is fancy bc it is newer. After a while, it can get boring. Explore the islands and see the natural beauty of the country and experience the warm welcome and hospitality of the locals. You want green? You’ll get all the natural landscapes and greenery vs the maintained cityscapes!
Please go to Corregidor Island -- it used to be a US military base and figured prominently in World War 2. There are also former US military bases in Subic Bay (Olongapo, Zambales) and Clark Airfield (Pampanga).
While i did not enjoy the traffic of Makati when I was working there a few years ago, i’d say makati might be slightly better to live in too, because there’s public transpo all over, vs in BGC where you are more car dependent. BGC may look walkable but it has little foliage to shade you from the scorching heat 🥵 hope you guys were safe from the typhoon!
For your next adventure, Biscuit Boys...try go to the cooler Tagaytay where you can feel the cold weather and have a nice view of Taal volcano and lake..There's a lot of fancy restaurants, eateries, greeneries and entertainment, etc...Take care and be safe for super typhoon is coming. Good luck on your epic adventures soon👏😍😘
Makati is the older business district compared to BGC. It has a lot of fancy shops too. Next time tey the tacos, spaghetti and pan chicken at Pancake House they’re also good.
Makati is the more established financial center/business district of the metro where the older conglomerates are headquartered, while BGC is the newer, more trendy business district with the more tech oriented businesses
Oh there u are guys! Visit the Filling Station at Burgos St, Makati.. you will love the American ambiance there!.. IloveMakati.. stay safe from the typhoon guys!
This mall is very epic I think old structure, I been here just for visit is this Landmark mall and it's front mall is Ayala Center Mall visit them also trifate you will enjoy the ambiance... Take MRT strait to Trinoma or SM North their connecting train to train..🤩😍👍 try "Goto king" with mix you can want...I see in your video is "BON CHON" Korean resto the chicken recipe is tasty you can try also even not filpino food I try it too

Hope you can both visit Tagaytay & Okada. Stay happy & blessed from ireland.
Welcome to Makati the best place to stay in your entire life hahaha 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭😎😍😍😍🤘🤟🤙😋😋😋
Foods and foods and more foods. Saturday and Sunday market please at Salsedo street and Legaspi street Makati. 😍
They are enjoying so much here in the Philippines.😄
Wow seeing this Vlog featuring the malls and streets in Makati really brought back so many good memories when i was still living in the area. I was actually living just one block away from Salcedo Park where the Saturday market is. I hope i could visit Makati again soon. Kudo's to you biscuit boys, loving all your vlogs.esp. ur RVs to SB19💕
I hope that next time, you will go to intramuros and see for yourself if the place is good or not🥰
LOL "It end with a Q!" And stage left, Igor walk. Isaac is hysterical!
you guys always eat with gusto! you make me hungry at this time at the height of typhoon karding.. haha
1:09 Isaac never breaks his statue role at the escalator lmao
24:17 Almost...
If you're still exploring Makati, check out Rada St for street food ( more like food trucks) and Poblacion for night life and more even more diverse food scene.
i stayed in makati before for quite sometime and i loved it! so conventient... its quiet during saturdays and sundays
Thanks!
Wow we appreciate this so much!!! Thank you! We basically only spend money on vids, so this will help us out with them a lot!:)
Ducky came to life all of a sudden because he got bored at home. 🤣 Yo Isaac, new phone, eh? You might want to secure that, haha! ✌
BGC is fancy bc it is newer. After a while, it can get boring. Explore the islands and see the natural beauty of the country and experience the warm welcome and hospitality of the locals. You want green? You’ll get all the natural landscapes and greenery vs the maintained
cityscapes!
We used to go to church at Greenbelt every Sunday. Take care and stay safe! God Blessed You Both!
I agree, it’s a nice area 👍😊🇵🇭
Please go to Corregidor Island -- it used to be a US military base and figured prominently in World War 2. There are also former US military bases in Subic Bay (Olongapo, Zambales) and Clark Airfield (Pampanga).
While i did not enjoy the traffic of Makati when I was working there a few years ago, i’d say makati might be slightly better to live in too, because there’s public transpo all over, vs in BGC where you are more car dependent. BGC may look walkable but it has little foliage to shade you from the scorching heat 🥵 hope you guys were safe from the typhoon!
It's a bad idea to watch this late at night. I;m craving!!! hahahah
Enjoy your time guys..keep safe always😍
Welcome to my city! I think I saw you both.
When do you think you saw us?
Checkout "The Filling Station" in Poblacion...uber epic! 💯
Good job bro welcome to the Philippines 🙏🙏
Hey guys, stay safe! There's a super typhoon coming! Interesting to see your point of view on it!
stay at home guys, this Super typhoon is not a joke so please stay safe and thank you for this vlog.
Try ROCKWELL TOO. NEAR MAKATI
Eyyyy new viiddd aaaa
Makati is the older business district compared to BGC. It has a lot of fancy shops too. Next time tey the tacos, spaghetti and pan chicken at Pancake House they’re also good.
There's a typhoon keepsafe trifate this is all I can say don't go out of the house or it's better to stay inside your house!😇
A park with church is one of my fave .it is greenbelt park
Everything you are eating is what i like. Some epic jealous here.
