There aren't a lot of System of a Down songs I know by heart...but the minute you started singing it all came back! I love it!! I love it when you take a song and make it your own for the cover. Doing that shows your creativity and usually shows off that AMAZING voice and your incredible range!! I'm in love with your voice!! And the electric guitar looks good on you, it suits you. I've been feeling sickly today, thanks for the music and for making me feel a bit better for a few minutes.

I like that you have your own interpretation of the song, and don't just play exactly the original. You're definitely talented and creative with a beautiful voice. That's being said, I still prefer the original song, I just need the heavier sound to fully enjoy it.

Nice take on this song. If you’re going to do a cover, you should make it your own. So many youtubers just want to show they can do it exactly like the original. That’s fine for practice, but there’s no point in performing it for the public as an exact copy. Good work!

That's true, but it's way harder to make it your own. First of all because you have to have your own style, which comes with time or sometimes never comes. Second of all you have to know quite some musical theory or have a really good song to do something like in this video. Most people to that covers just for fun and I like them, even tho this a milion times more amazing

This! If you do it exactly the same, I have no reason to chose you over the original. Then there are things like I, Prevail and WCAR whi covered Taylor Swift, and I prefer their versions. Or Ankor's version of Bad Guy even.
There's still a point, different vocal, different mixing, different instruments make differences. Even just different amps have different tone. Mastering also have styles same song even same performer with different mastering goal have different sound, so the point is there. There are many live record or cover that sound more pleasant than the original records because of the mixing and mastering.

Всего лишь не может различить свои слова от чужих.
