Qatar has proven western criticism and media critics wrong by holding a beautiful World Cup with their amazing warmth and hospitality towards fans none of whom have complained. Western media are jealous it went too well against their criticisms. They even linked EU corruption to Qatar as a last week (weak) attempt to damage the country’s global standing. Qataris have brought dignity to not just Arabs but also Africans / Muslims / fans from the Global South, people of colour…

Part of Al Jazeera report :
      News|Qatar World Cup 2022
Qatari minister slams Western media coverage of World Cup record
In February 2021, the Guardian newspaper reported that 6,500 migrant workers from India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka had died in the country since 2010, when Qatar was awarded the World Cup.
The Qatari government has stated that these figures, provided by the respective countries’ embassies, included deaths of people not working on World Cup projects. It said, “The mortality rate among these communities is within the expected range for the size and demographics of the population.”
The government said there were 37 deaths between 2014 and 2020 among workers directly linked to the construction of World Cup stadiums, of which three were “work-related”.

Now Qatar has a population of under 3 million (including the migrant workers) - almost 30 times smaller than Germany. And the tally of 414 who died ( this is their official admission but it could be many , many more) is not all the migrant deaths IN CONSTRUCTION in Qatar but all the migrants who died constructing PROJECTS SUROUNDING THE WORLD CUP in QATAR (eg building the Metro, expanding airport, new hotels)

Football was enjoyed safely. Families felt safe. Where there's alcohol football experience can never be safe. There's always the risk of people becoming drunk and act with unpredictable behaviour. So a clear message to football around the world. Enjoyment wasn't diminished by the absence of alcohol. To the contrary, it was enhanced.

He said the number of deaths but he didn't say if the families member received compensation in terms of many of course this money will not pay for the death but help the families reduce the pain a little bit. I am saying this because most workers who worked in Qatar came from poor countries and needed this money to help them with expenses. Even though they paid the expenses they should have given some money to the families it would be much better for Qatar's reputation. I would like this question to be asked and answered. This question will be in many people's minds and must be answered. I would like to hear the answer. Congratulations Qatar.

True, many migrants have died; The claims vary between 6,500 - 15,000, but there’s a misleading catch in the numbers, mostly because of notorious sources, such as Amnesty International and The Guardian, they never directly claimed that all these people died on stadium construction sites, because, both were merely referring to the numbers obtained from, guess this, the official statistics from the Qatari authorities themselves, 15,021, which referred to the number of foreigners who died in the entire country and all fields between 2010-2020.
The country's Government Communications Office said: "Although each loss of life is upsetting, the mortality rate among these communities is within the expected range for the size and demographics of the population”; According to Qatar, the population is 2,891,000 in Total ( released at November 2022), keep in mind that these Migrant workers make up approximately 77 percent of the Qatari population, it should be noted that, the general mortality rates for the migrant workers in Qatar are lower than they are in their home countries.
I personally wish for all migrants to have respectable conditions, away from any humiliation, embassies, if available, should offer help if needed, but, and if any migrant died due to poor conditions, then families should be compensated.
But, it isn’t as dramatic as the west make it seem, which shouldn’t talk at all since they exploit other countries to break their own western values, or keep them weak and poor to do so (and more) as France does in many African countries.

FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Final
Argentina opened up the scoring when Messi scored a penalty kick, and doubled their lead with a Di Maria goal in the 38th minute. France made two substitutions in the first half, but went into half-time trailing 0-2. Despite not having a shot until after the 70th minute, France were awarded a penalty as Randal Kolo Muani was brought down in the penalty area. Mbappé scored the penalty, and added a second goal less than two minutes later to equalise the scores. With the scores tied, the match went to extra time. Messi scored again for Argentina in the second extra time half. Mbappé was awarded a second penalty in the 115th minute after his initial shot hit the arm of Gonzalo Montiel. Mbappé scored his third goal, becoming the second player to score a hat-trick in the final of a World Cup. With the scores tied at 3-3, the match was completed by a penalty shootout. Argentina won the final after scoring all of their penalties, winning 4-2.

Well done Mr Hassan Al Thawadi and well done to Qatar for its achievements in this world cup. The majority of the fans have enjoyed their experiences in Qatar and have spoken the truth about how they appreciate the preparation, organisation and welcome they experienced in Qatar. the Western Media and especially have proven their bias, and their Eurocentrism in the way they look at the rest of the world. I am so glad and proud that Qatar staged a successful and exciting World Cup. One feels proud that a non-western country has proofed that it can be done. And it was fitting that a non-western country won. The journalist asked if this event will changed the views of people about Qatar. The reality is that main stream western media will always push a stereotypical and negative narrative and the views of western people will never change.

@@anikmahmud1737 when muslims were the world's superpower, they spread civilisation, literacy, religion and good manners. They pioneered medicine, mathematics, scientific, chemical and engineering know-how. People from China in the east to Portugal in the west entered into Islam willingly. Indonesia is the country with the highest population of muslims, and not a single muslim soldier set foot in that country. In contrast, when the west became powerful, they enslaved people by the tens of millions; genocided entire ethnicities; they looted the resources of their colonies until these colonies became helpless and owed huge debts to the colonial masters who made them poor in the first place. Put simply, any non-European, non-white person was seen as a worthless sub-human who can be treated worse than a dog. the West has waged a continuous war on the global south and the global east, to spread their extreme liberal ideology, which destroys families, communities and societies. Thankfully, the west is now in decline and it will not be long before their dominance becomes no more than footnote of history.
