Kenny Schrader's crash is reminiscent of Dale Earnhardt crash just mere years later. Look at Schrader's crash in this video. Just like Earnhardt.
He hit the apron the same and the wall at the same angle as Earnhardt
Yeah, pretty crazy. If Benson was a few feet farther forward he would have rode Schrader into the wall just like Schrader did in Earnhardt's crash. That few feet probably saved Schrader's life.

Earnhardt would have survived if he had a full face helmet and if he had not loosened his belts during the Tony Stewart red flag wreck!! The crew asked him if he tightened his belts back up!!
Dale won the 500 the same way with that caution
1998 was a great season for NASCAR with Chevy dominating both the Busch Grand National & Winston Cup Series...
Ken Schrader crash 43:10 just like Earnhardt's and he walked away because of his full face helmet and tightened lap belts!!
What irony Michael Waltrip running 2nd in the 125 behind Earnhardt!!
That was cool watching Ken Schrader & Jeff Gordon working together!

Kenny Schrader has had some hard hits ..he is lucky to be alive today..
and remember when this took place they raced back to the yellow for 2.5 miles
delaying safety response to the damaged vehicle by a critical amount of time ,
if the drivers were in dire straits they would just have to wait and burn so to speak..
glad they don't race back and glad there is a pit road speed limit..
48:40 the wheel you could see it layin on the dash when kenny climbed out I thought it looked Bent
Dude I live 20 minutes from Daytona and I talked to the EMT's who worked that day!!
Earnhardt's lower jaw was pushed out the back of his skull!! His eyes popped out of his head!!
I had a friend that went to that race and he said he heard over the scanner that an EMT said Earnhardt didn't have a face left. Awful
You can see in the RUclips video they had a towel over his faceless body!!
